Unfortunately, but perhaps unsurprisingly, it also lacks the maturity that marks both of those artists's work. The opening track is a fairly good, if predictable pop tune which showcases the stronger side of Payne's lyrical pen. But as the album progresses through "Supermodels" a song about the writer's unwillingness to be judged on looks which unfortunately makes its own rash judgementsand onwards, the sparks are lost in a generally lukewarm fireplace.
