High school fight By Brent A boy and girl slug it out behind the gym It was a normal day in May at Central High. 16 year old Rochelle was storming down the hallway with her friend Amy trailing behind. Amy was in tears and Rochelle was steaming mad. Rochelle was 5 feet 4 inches and 118 pounds. She had long red hair, freckles, and the cutest face around. She also had large breasts and a round firm butt. She was wearing a green button down shirt with only one button fastened over a pink tube top, jeans that appeared to be painted on, and sandals. As they turned a corner in the crowded hallway, the busty redhead and her slim blonde friend saw what they were looking for. It was Tom Bradley, Amy's ex-boyfriend. He was talking with a group of his friends when Rochelle walked straight up to him and got in his face. "You broke my best friend's heart you creep and you're going to apologize to her for it!" Rochelle said, her pretty face red with anger. "Screw you!" Tom replied, "I'm not apologizing to anyone." "Oh yes you are or I'm going to beat the hell out of you in front of everybody!" Rochelle yelled. Tom became visibly angry and said, "You better get out of my face before you get hurt!" Tom was 17 years old 5 feet 10 inches tall and 150 pounds. He was wearing a plain blue T- shirt, jeans, and sneakers. "Outside behind the gym right now. I'll teach you to mess with my friends." Rochelle said. Behind the gym was the traditional location for fights at Central High. It was secluded and no teachers ever went back there. "I'm not fighting a girl." Said Tom. "Chicken!" replied Rochelle and she pushed Tom causing him to stumble backwards and fall to the floor. A laugh went up from the crowd that had gathered and Tom was furious, "Fine, you want to get your butt kicked, let's go." They and a large crowd of students moved outside to the grassy area behind the gym. The crowd formed a circle around Tom and Rochelle. Rochelle took off her button down shirt leaving her in the pink tube top. The top accentuated her broad round shoulders and firm arms. Rochelle did a lot of swimming and it showed. She kicked off her sandals leaving her in bare feet. "Let's do it Chicken." She said to Tom. Tom said, "This is your last chance to back out of this before I break your face." "Screw you." Rochelle said and slapped Tom across the face hard. With that, both of them began throwing punches as fast and as hard as they could. The two combatants stood toe-to-toe slugging away. Both were landing punches to the others face. At first the crowd stood in stunned silence at the site of a boy and girl fighting in such a brutal fashion. Then the crowd began cheering the two fighters on. Most of the boys cheered for Tom. All of the girls, and some of the boys, cheered for Rochelle. The slugfest continued for almost 2 minutes. At casual glance it looked like a stalemate. However, if you watched closely you would see that Rochelle was blocking some of Tom's punches and the ones that landed did not seem to have much effect. On the other hand, nearly all of Rochelle's punches were finding there targets and Tom's head was being snapped back and forth. Finally, Tom threw a wild right hook and Rochelle ducked under it. As she ducked, she threw a left hand into Tom's midsection. Her small fist sunk deep into Tom's stomach forcing all the wind out of him and causing him to double over. As he bent over, his chin met Rochelle's right fist as it came up in a huge uppercut that straightened Tom up and sent him falling back into the grass. He landed in a seated position with his upper body supported by his arms thrust out behind him. After a moment of stunned silence a roar went up from the crowd. Tom looked around at the crowd in shock and embarrassment. Then he looked at Rochelle she just stood there with her fists held high in front of her face. Tom's look of shock turned to rage and he scrambled to his feet and attacked Rochelle. The slugfest resumed. After nearly a minute of trading punches, Rochelle landed a right cross that connected with Tom's chin and spun his head around nearly 180 degrees. His body followed suit and he fell face first into the grass. Again the crowd cheered and some people laughed out loud. Tom looked over his shoulder at Rochelle. She slowly lowered her fists and put her hands on her hips. She was breathing heavily. Her chest heaved up and down. Her stomach, which was completely bare thanks to the tiny tube top moved in and out with each breath. Her abdominal muscles were quite visible each time her stomach went in. She stared down at Tom and calmly said, "Had enough?" Another wave of anger came over Tom and he quickly scrambled back to his feet and went after Rochelle. When he reached her he landed a huge punch to her stomach. The blow landed with a thud. Rochelle let out a small "huff" but did not double over. The punch appeared the bounce off the hard female stomach muscles that lay just beneath the soft skin of the girl's abdomen. The battle continued. However, it was apparent that Tom was almost finished. His nose was bleeding, he was being driven backwards, and most of his effort went into trying to block Rochelle's punches. After about 45 seconds Rochelle landed a series of punches to Tom's face. Left, right, left, right, left, right. Tom's head was whipped back and fourth like a punching bag. The final right hand of the combination sent Tom down flat on his back spread eagle on the grass. The crowd cheered for Rochelle. Tom's fans were silent. Tom just lay flat on the grass and stared up at the sky. Rochelle lowered her fists, placed her hands on her hips and walked over to Tom. She placed her bare right foot on Tom's chest and looked down at his bloody face. The crowd was now watching in silent awe. Rochelle asked Tom, "Give up?" Tom knew he was beaten. He shifted his gaze from the sky to Rochelle's beautiful face and said, "Yes." "Then apologize to Amy right now!" Rochelle demanded pointing to Amy in the crowd. Tom looked over at his ex-girlfriend and said, "I'm sorry Amy, and I'll make it up to I promise." The crowd exploded in a huge cheer for their new champion. Some began chanting Rochelle's name. Rochelle looked up from Tom at the crowd and smiled. With her foot still planted on her beaten opponents chest she flexed her muscles for the crowd. The two impressive bulges that appeared on her arms surprised everyone. She was sweating, panting, and had a bruise forming on her left cheek but still she smiled widely as she posed for her adoring fans. Needless to say, no one ever messed with Rochelle or her friends again.

Brent C (B.C.) Moore Journals May 27, 1997 Location: Lisco, Nebraska - Location:
Summary: OshKosh to Lisco Pioneers on the pavement, friendly folks in Lisco
Journal entry: When I woke up in the gym, I noticed that with 200 sleeping adults and children, the place smelled like, well...like a gym. We started out our walk and looked a mile across the field to notice that the wagons hadn't even made it out of the muddy field. We remained ahead of them all day... a real accomplishment. Our camp is in a pasture about 1 mile out of the small town of Lisco. I needed to use a pay phone, and as I began walking into town, I saw a jeep Cherokee full of ladies who looked like they were heading into town. I knocked on the window and asked if I could get a ride. They were so nice, and not only took me into town, but Cynthia took me to the Lisco State Bank and introduced me to her husband, Tom Olson, the president of the bank. He took me to an office, and let me sit at a desk and use the phone to make my calls. I was really impressed with their generosity to a complete stranger. I found out that my tent from REI was somewhere in Colorado in a dark brown UPS truck on its way back to Utah.. So I called REI and they agreed to ship it next day delivery to Scottsbluff. When I emerged from the office, Tom's sister, Marj, was still waiting to take me wherever I needed to go. So we went to the "Superette," a small grocery store (the only store in town) and then back to the camp. I had some time to talk with some newcomers and to Amy before it was time to go back into town for the FISH FRY!!! Yes, we were fortunate to be staying in the town that boasts the best freshwater salmon fish farm in Nebraska. The American Legion cooked up an all-you-can-eat feast of the tasty fish. During dinner we got to meet lots of Lisco natives, and I got to introduce Amy to my new friends, Tom, Cynthia, and Marj.

Durham, North Carolina Whether you are a family of four or a household of one, Rochelle Manor Computer Literacy Center (CLC) in Durham, North Carolina, offers something for everyone. From family-oriented literacy programs to résumé-writing support to customized job searches, Rochelle Manor CLC provides programs that directly meet the needs of its residents.
Literacy: It's a Family Affair
In 2004, the CLC began offering Strong Parental Involvement in Community Education (SPICE). Launched in the Durham public schools in 2001, SPICE aims to fulfill a two-pronged mission: close the achievement (literacy) gap and eliminate the digital divide between the city's African-American and white students. To achieve this mission, SPICE awards home computers to families who successfully complete the literacy classes. Rochelle Manor CLC's SPICE program meets two nights a week for 6 weeks. A SPICE instructor taught the first session, but since then, graduates have taught all subsequent classes. In January 2005, the CLC's first youth teacher-a 10th grader at Southern High School taught Rochelle's Manor CLC's third SPICE class. Rochelle Manor families who complete the course receive a home computer and a $25 stipend.

Mrs. G. Presley's Grade 4 For the year 2001-2002 our grade four English class at R.F. Morrison includes twenty-four students. There are thirteen boys and eleven girls. We have been pen pals with Mrs. McVeigh's P5 class in Carryduff Primary School in Carryduff, Belfast, Northern Ireland for the past year. The children have enjoyed email to each other and are always asking if their pen pal letters have arrived. We wanted now to share information about our Hallowe'en traditions with the children in Nortern Ireland, and that's why we made this web page. HELLO TO ALL OUR FRIENDS IN CARRYDUFF! The Bloody Fangs By: Margaret Baker One night when Ashley was going to sleep she heard a noise at her window. Ashley had a hard time falling asleep that night. When she fell asleep the thing that was scratching on her window got in the house and went into her room. The thing that was scratching on her window had fangs and it woke up Ashley and as soon as she woke up it bit right into her neck. The next mornihg when Ashley's mom went into Ashley's room she found her lying in bed dead. Her mom took her to the hospitial and the doctor saw two holes in Ashley's neck. The doctor said that he could do nothing to make her alive again. That afternoon Ashley's mom saw a man who had red teeth. A year later Ashley's mom had a baby and when the baby grew up the same thing happened. This time when she was screaming her mom came in and the monster went out the window. They saw the monster again only when there was a full moon.

Rumor had it that there were over 2,000 dogs entered in conformation and obedience. A bunch of us were squeezed around a table munching on the usual show junk food; hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, sodas etc. Our Tollers were all groomed and we were just killing time until our turn to be judged. Conversation was lively on the pros and cons of grooming, handling, hunting techniques, raising pups, etc. All the usual dog "chit chat". As I looked around the table at the many familiar faces my mind began to drift back to earlier times. The very first time we had gathered here and how it had all come about.... Sylvan Jason, a yellow Lab, was born on June 21, 1974. He was shy and afraid of other dogs. Someone told me about "obedience classes". What a great way to socialize him and in so doing build his self-confidence. We enrolled in an eight week course. The instructor was from my town. He had trained and de-trained dogs during World War Two and raised and showed Great Danes and Corgis. He was highly competitive and had a thundering voice which was extremely intimidating. Jason shook from head to tail and I was so nervous I was sure I had to go to the bathroom.

The Land of PureGold Foundation, Inc. is developing creative media, such as the Gotta Dance! Documentary to raise monies for cancer treatment as well as for research in comparative oncology, which is the study of cancers that occur similarly in both companion animals and humans. In addition, it is hoped that more persons will come to embrace the concept of the human-canine bond as a health-promoting, therapeutic tool. For a limited time only, persons who make a tax-deductible donation of to the Land of PureGold Foundation can request an author signed and personalized copy of the book, Golden Days: Memories of a Golden Retriever . Donated to and written by Honorary Foundation Board Member , Arthur Vanderbilt, about his Golden girl Amy, this book tells a beautiful tale of the affection between people and their very special dogs. As Art writes, "She had taken us places we never would have gone and shown us things we never would have seen without her." I am forever after Art about bringing a Golden into his home, but I fear that his still sharply focused memories of Amy keep getting in the way. Yet, I can empathize with him about this dilemma, my sharing in the pain that he experienced when Amy transitioned to The Bridge, as lymphoma (which my Ollie battled) proved to be her downfall as well.

Assassins' Guide Propaganda Mailing Lists About KAOS Operation Hunter - The First Weekend the Official Truth: by Joe Young, Minister of Propaganda, KAOS Otago Operation Hunter Page We were halfway down George Street on our way to Woodhaugh Gardens when it occurred to me that it might be fun to write this article as a rip-off of Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas . Hunter Thompson, the ridiculous crypto-journalistic flake who foisted that marvellous ode to human stupidity on the world in 1969, cultivated a cocaine habit out of a sense of civic duty and once apparently ended an interview with President Clinton in a violent screaming match with him, had turned up a few days earlier on the floor of his living room with a bullet in his head. Thompson's frantic, blithering, deceptively careful prose style had been an inspiration to any number of young scribblers, myself included, and it seemed only fair to memorialise him somehow. This presented obvious problems. Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas is the loudly exaggerated story of two nasty, knavish idiots who accept a job on false pretences, buy a suitcase full of drugs and proceed to empty it into their mouths, noses and brains over the course of several days, alarming and abusing all who pass before them, including each other, before nothing much happens. And this was Operation Peach
