She was a member of the Shiloh Hills Baptist Church in Kennesaw GA. Surviving are a daughter, May Ann Lockaby and her husband, Jack, of Blairsville; three grandsons, Keith and Kerry Lockaby, both of Woodstock GA and Kevin Lockaby of Acworth GA ; and a great grandson, Trent Lockaby of Woodstock GA. Funeral services were held at 2 pm Wednesday, January 26th in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy with the Rev. Aud Brown officiating. Burial was in Bellview United Methodist Church Cemetery Pallbearers were: Keith, Kerry, Kevin and Trent Lockaby, Robert Wynn, and Perry Hughes.

REPEAT AFTER ME Mini-Histories of Classic TV's Finest (c) May 2001 .. Herbie J Pilato The Ultimate Fantasy? Fall, 1977, The Love Boat debuts on ABC. It’s a hit. The network craves a companion show. But the alphabet web should have been careful about what it wished for. Just as the critics berate Love Boat for being "light entertainment," reviews are even more severe for Fantasy Island . It’s no surprise that both are produced by the man who knows well the profits to be made from the very mainstream, if not-so-high-brow TV standards of the American viewer: Aaron Spelling who, by Fantasy’s debut in 1978, becomes the king of the ABC tri-detective shows ( Charlie’s Angels The Rookies The Mod Squad ), alongside partner Leonard Goldberg (who created the now famous Movie-of-the-Week format). In the interim, just as Love Boat is inspired by Love, American Style Fantasy is also reminiscent of another classic show: The Millionaire . Whereas Style has separate vignettes (with no regular running characters), Boat incorporates regulars into every segment. Just as
