Born in Ridgewood, NJ and raised in Knightdale, NC, Frankie Muniz discovered his passion for acting after watching his sister perform in a play. Soon after, Muniz was cast as Tiny Tim in an open casting call for "A Christmas Carol." He performed the play for three seasons and also appeared in other local productions, including 'The Sound of Music," "The Wizard of Oz" and "Our Town."
Muniz made his television debut in the made-for-television movie "To Dance With Olivia," starring Louis Gosset, Jr. He also appeared in the CBS "Hallmark Hall of Fame" presentation of "What the Deaf Man Heard," for which he received a nomination for The Hollywood Reporter Young Star Award, as well as The Young Artist of Hollywood Award for best television performance in a movie or miniseries. Muniz's addtional television credits include "Spin City," "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," "Silk Stalkings" and "Another World."
In feature films, Muniz has appeared in "Lost and Found," "It Had To Be You" and "Little Man." He can also be seen as the lead in the upcoming release "My Dog Skip," also starring Kevin Bacon and Diane Lane.
