Overview    This page has been developed as a resource for my students and their parents.  I intend to keep it current as often as I can and it is my hope that this site will become a useful tool for many of my students as they work on their weekly assignments and lab reports.  I will also try to make it a resource for those students preparing for the Regents Examinations in June.                                                                                                                     Mr. Breed Click on the links below to view the following:

  • His head is on a pike in the Chamber of Horrors at the Springfield Wax Museum.
Appears on the cover of Homer's TV Guide.
Regarding the B-Sharps' song about Surgeon General C. Everett Koop:
Apu: This is worse than your song about Mr. T.
Homer: I pity the fool who doesn't like...he.
Homer: You're right, Marge. Just like the time I could have met Mr. T at the mall. The entire day, I kept saying, 'I'll go a little later, I'll go a little later...' And when I got there, they told me he just left. And when I asked the mall guy if he'll ever come back again, he said he didn't know. Well, I'm never going to let something like that happen again!
A comic on An Evening At the Improv: I think about weird stuff, like what would happen if Mr. T and E.T. had a baby. You'd get Mr. E. T., wouldn't you? And he'd sound something like this: 'I pity the fool who doesn'tpho-one ho-ome!'
Homer: Oh, I sure wouldn't want to be Mr. T right now.

Celebrities TV Recaps ... Food Mr. T #1 Review
Posted By Chris Delloiacono on 06.27.2005
Only a sucker wouldn't give this a shot! Reviewer: Chris Delloiacono
Story Title: N/A
Written by: Chris Bunting
Penciled by: Neil Edwards
Inked by: Randy Emberlin Colored by: Don Mackinnon Editor: Ric Burnston Publisher: AP Comics Mr. T is one of the biggest stars the world has ever seen. In the 1980s he was everywhere. Being a child of the '80s, I experienced the titanic popularity of Mr. T firsthand. From the time that I saw him in Rocky III he had made his mark on my psyche. Of course it was difficult to like the "evil" Clubber Lang, but more lovable roles soon followed. As an elementary schooler, The A-Team was a show I couldn't get enough of. I still have the A-Team action figure of Mr. T's character B.A. Baracus, which my parents hunted down for a birthday present. Mr. T was so big in the mid-eighties that the true definition of success in entertainment followed when the cartoon Mr. T

149. Mr. Moto And Miss Liu
mr. Moto's love life.
Mr. Moto and Miss Liu
I'd like to know more about Mr. Moto's love life, but nobody in the know is telling. Not John P. Marquand, the novelist who created Mr. Moto, and certainly not the people who put together the Twentieth Century Fox Moto films starring Peter Lorre. So, in regards to sex and Mr. Moto, I'll just have to fill in the naked spots myself.
Given Moto's many similarities to James Bondslick wardrobe, license to kill, unlimited travel expenses, and general air of detached bemusementit's too bad his makers didn't go the whole route and give him a visible libido. True, his first adventures appeared in The Saturday Evening Post , which may be why Marquand seldom describes Moto doing anything that couldn't be drawn by Norman Rockwell. But however businesslike and soft-spoken, Marquand's Moto is no wuss. With his shrewd knowledge of the ways of international espionage and samurai code of ethics, Moto serves as an Iron John figure to the wishy-washy American heroes of the Moto novels, guiding them with fatherly wisdom and tact through their exotic Pacific Rim adventures with bad guys and dangerous women. As for Moto's personal life, other than his loyalty to Emperor Hirohito and hobby of helping out American slackers in peril, Marquand deliberately says nothing of it.
The Fox movies don't give away much either about what Moto gets up to when he's not saving the world from smugglers or spies. It's possible that he has a wife and kids back in Japan, or Honolulu, or San Francisco or wherever he comes from. (Though in the novels Moto is specifically a Japanese national, Fox's Moto seems more Japanese-American. He speaks perfect idiomatic American English, drinks cow's milk and proudly identifies himself as a Stanford man.) He might even keep a geisha somewhere to entertain him; he does seem like the type who'd prefer the tea ceremony to a table dance. But when it comes to sentimental attachments, one thing is certain: there's no woman in the world who affects Mr. Moto in quite the same way as Lotus Liu.

United States, 1995
U.S. Release Date:

Running Length:
MPAA Classification:
PG (Mild language)
Theatrical Aspect Ratio: Cast: Richard Dreyfuss, Glenne Headly, Olympia Dukakis, W.H. Macy, Jay Thomas, Alicia Witt, Jean Louisa Kelly, Terrence Howard
Director: Stephen Herek
Producers: Robert W. Cort, Ted Field, and Michael Nolan
Screenplay: Patrick Duncan
Cinematography: Oliver Wood
Music: Michael Kamen U.S. Distributor: Hollywood Pictures When The American President was released, many knowledgeable movie-goers commented how the sentimentality of its "feel good" storyline recalled the work of director Frank Capra. Now, with Mr. Holland's Opus , another Capra-esque motion picture has reached today's theaters. Similar in theme and content to Dead Poets' Society and It's a Wonderful Life , this movie persuades its audience that no life spent in a worthy pursuit is ever wasted. Unlike The American President , however, it doesn't stoop to heavy-handed proselytizing. And, while no one will accuse Mr. Holland's Opus
