"I always tended to favor the more actorly sketches [in Kids in the Hall], where you would have to act seriously and quite realistically," says the mustachioed actor. As Chester, he found himself in the skin of a man who had resisted sadness all his life, only to face it all tumbling down upon him at the climax of the picture.
