I wish this pair of morons would fall off a cliff. Why? Let's have a look at their recent output:
I'm sure you'll agree that both of these shows are dross of the highest order. Crammed full of the lowest level of retarded toilet humour and tiresome forced wackiness this side of newgrounds.com. You can guarantee that Dick and Dom detest each other and race to leave the studio through separate exits after filming - on the way to their respective crack dealers.
I've never even seen the original 'Ask the Family' but I'm still offened by what they have done to it. I can just imagine a pleasant family orientated show, free from fart jokes and 20 minutes of constant screaming and whooping. Good wholesome TV. Hopefully there will only be the one run of shows. I wonder if I could apply to become a contestant and turn up with a grenade down my trousers?
If I had kids and caught them watching either of these, I'd issue an on the spot beating they'd never forget! But really, this is not the kind of television the BBC should be making for kids. If there are any kids left who aren't hyperactive ADD suffering chimps with the need to be stimulated by bright colours and wackyness every 3 seconds, then shows like these do a good job of wearing them down. I can't believe our license fee goes towards such utter garbage.

Still no news on why Ramon Diaz and Horacio Rodriguez were not at either sCUNThorpe or the Orient match, the players are also reportedly asking questions about the future of the club as we go into the last 5 weeks of the current season.
However OUFC River Plate take on Team Orange in the Wheatley 5 a side league tonight, with the Kick off at 9.20pm!!!!!! and are hoping to bounce back after defeat last week.
Pictures from the Orient game are on this link

Oxford had fans from across the other side of the world at the Orient game on Bank Holiday Monday, The Mallett family were out in full force for the day, Timmy Mallett and his son Billy were joined by relatives from Australia that are over for their Hols, they are also hoping to take in the Macclesfield game at the Kastad next Wednesday before going home, I met up with them after the game and introduced them to Chris Tardif in one of the executive boxes, they put Tards through some easy and tough questions about his career and his time at Oxford and then got autographs, they liked what they saw at the club, they are used to watching Aussie Rules football, so they were nearly at home in talking to Tards-seeing he is the only one that can pick the ball up and kick it....Hope to see Sarah, Ian, Josh, Timmy and Billy Mallett at the Macc game, where hopefully they will get to see a U's win...

For the uninitiated, and believe me you are blessed, this is a cable channel where you order stuff and the price goes down as folk order and whatever the price was when you bid you get the lowest finishing price. The gurning muppet that was doing all the shouting about the towels or whatever he was selling said "Before we go for the next price drop here is Peter Simon to give you a speed auction..." I thought it can't be the same guy of Double Dare and Run The Risk fame surely...it was you know, such a sad sight to behold. There was Pete flogging cheap jewellery and talking like an wide east end barrow boy. He's not changed a bit...apart from his pride! Of course how much pride he would have had in slipping around in gunk was debatable I guess. Made me wonder what other stars of yesteryear are now on the "TV Slut List"?

    Return to Tokyo
I returned to Tokyo two weeks ago, for my first visit since my arrival in Japan last August. My previous stay in this vast metropolis had been a bit of brief fling, as most of my time was spent at conferences inside the Keio Plaza Hotel, being told about what to expect to find in my new life in Japan. I can remember vividly how exciting that first visit was, going from sleepy Tobermory, with a population of less than a thousand people, to finding myself in one of the world’s largest cities. Unlike some, I didn’t find Tokyo surprisingly strange when I first arrived. That’s not to say it wasn’t strange, but I think that because I had an expectation before I arrived that everything would be quirky and weird, I wasn’t caught off guard by how different things were. But, even if I wasn’t so surprised, I was still totally in awe.
The first thing that struck me about Tokyo was its density. Whereas European cities tend to sprawl, with historic prestige buildings often constituting the core, accompanied by wide open streets threading themselves throughout much of city centre, Tokyo initially seemed to me to be a rather chaotic mess; a Jackson Pollock in concrete and steel. Everything also appeared to be very new; there were virtually no buildings that looked like they could have been much older than my grandparents. This was especially striking in Shinjuku, where I had my first encounter with a skyscraper. For a city founded in the 12th century, you could almost believe that Tokyo was a recent creation. In fact, much of it indeed is: a large earthquake in 1923 destroyed vast areas of the city, and during the war the Americans

British TV personality Timmy Mallett has joined a campaign to save a special needs centre said to be under threat from a planned city bypass.
He gave his backing to campaigners fighting a proposed road which cuts through the community centre where his older brother Martin, who has Down’s syndrome, has lived and worked since 1981.
Mallett, who rose to fame presenting the Wide Awake Club on TVam in the 1980s, has been a regular visitor to the Newton Dee community in Aberdeen over the years.

His radio career began with the BBC in Brighton during his student days, when he attended university in the seaside town. On graduating, he joined London's LBC , and at one time reaching the upper echelons of News Director of what turned out to be an award winning breakfast show titled 'AM'. Tommy's more recent broadcasting exploits have been so successful that they've arguably clouded how he came to widespread acclaim - as one of the hosts of ITV's 'Magpie', Channel 3's answer to BBC1's 'Blue Peter'. Radio 1 DJ Pete Brady . Jenny Hanley took over from future Children's Radio campaigner Susan Stranks in 1974 - with Robertson and Hanley, there was a missing link of probably the most remembered Magpie line up - that of Tommy Boyd who replaced Douglas Rae in 1977. The final three were no match for the BBC's long established 'Blue Peter' and the fight ended in 1980 when ' Magpie' aired for the last time after a run of around 1,000 25 minute episodes all told. Children's TV entertainer Timmy Mallett rescued a woman from the waters of a freezing marina, police disclosed on Sunday. The zany Wacaday star was on hand when the woman, in her 30s, fell into Hartlepool Marina in the early hours of this morning, said a spokesman for Cleveland Police. It is believed Mr Mallett, who is currently starring as Buttons in Cinderella at the Billingham Forum, near Middlesbrough, was in a flat by the marina when he ran to the waterside. He helped her from the water and wrapped her in blankets until paramedics arrived. Cleveland Police had no details of Mr Mallett's exact involvement in the rescue or how the woman came to fall into the icy water in the first place. A spokesman said: "We can confirm Timmy Mallet's involvement in the rescue of a female who had fallen into the water at Hartlepool Marina." Mallett's Mallet He said the incident was reported at 0032GMT on Sunday and the woman was taken to Hartlepool General Hospital suffering from suspected hypothermia.

The right wing tabloids run never-ending headlines of soft-touch Britain and bogus asylum seekers. They openly scapegoat refugees and asylum seekers for all of society's ills.
But asylum seekers and refugees are among the poorest and most vulnerable people. Most of them are fleeing war zones and dictatorships created by the British military and arms manufacturers. Others are desperate to escape the effects of economies in freefall again thanks to British, US and EU maintained debt mountains, unfair trade rules and austerity dictated by the IMF.
WHAT DO THE RACIST RAGS SAY? WHAT IS THE TRUTH? - Asylum seekers are taking British jobs... TRUTH Asylum seekers are forbidden to work until their claim is accepted. If they do, their claim will be rejected and they will be sent back. A significant number are doctors, educated professionals who could contribute a lot but are not allowed to do so. - Asylum seekers live in the lap of luxury... TRUTH A single asylum seeker gets only £37.77 a week - 30% below the official poverty line.
