“There is a rustle in your name, like the passing of the years; the sound of days falling like leaves around you, inevitably to leave a barren scarecrow in the wind without a rustle." This is one of the many thoughts that have sprung from the mind of Bob MacKenzie over the past three decades. A poet, songwriter, novelist, and commercial writer, MacKenzie has used his talent as an artist to express himself in many different forms. Assume Nothing , which features songs and poetry written by Bob Mackenzie and performed by different musicians, is an experimental album that gives the listener a taste of several different kinds of music. While some songs on the album explore country classical and pop styles, others consist of nothing more than a guitar , a piano, and MacKenzie’s calm, baritone voice reciting his insightful words- some of them dating back to the late 1960’s. A multi-media project

JAG has been cancelled!
After 10 seasons, JAG ended it's run on April 29, 2005.
As a result, this site will go offline in September, after the JAGFanFest . If you want to copy anything from this site, you have my permission to do so.

Welcome to the Mac on JAG fan site! I'm a big fan of Sarah MacKenzie "Mac" on CBS's action/drama J.A.G. (Judge Advocate General). Mac, played by the very talented and captivating, Catherine Lisa Bell, peaked my interest from the moment she was introduced to the show.
I recommend you start with the All About Mac section. There's LOTS of stuff about our favorite Marine ( quotes, trivia, hairstyles, biography , and more). You can even join " Mac Anon ," the unofficial group for Mac fans! And be sure and check out some of the missing scenes and writer's notes from various scripts in the Episode Information section!

Liberal "It is what we prevent, rather than what we do that counts most in Government." Mackenzie King, August 26 1936 Private Life Did You Know? King had an odd hobby. Comedy ... Help Like this page? Send it to a friend! Mackenzie Crook joined us for a live chat on 8th July, 2002. You can read the full transcript of this popular online event below Brady: Is it true that you are a fish fancier? Mackenzie Crook: Yeah, I am. I like eating them and keeping them and catching them. I've got a batch of eggs that have just hatched. I have a tropical Amazon tank. My kribs have just spawned. Whenever I dream, I dream of fish. It's something within me I have to sort out with fish, but I haven't figured out what it is. Graeme189: Mackenzie, I mean absolutely no offence whatsoever, but would you agree you have a great face for comedy? Mackenzie Crook: Yeah - no offence taken... All the parts I get offered are character and comedy parts, and I probably wouldn't get them if I had a different face. So I'm glad I have a comedy face. I had a lot of wigs in TV To Go and I had that Gareth haircut for The Office. I don't have much choice these days in how I have my hair. fatlilpiggy: Do u help writing the sketches on TV to go?

....Performing music from Ireland, Scotland, England, France and Northern Spain on a dazzling array of wind-powered instruments, including flutes, whistles, concertina, many bagpipes and voice. "In my little black book of musicians and writers there's an entire page dedicated to Laura MacKenzie. Few musicians are persistent and talented enough to become accomplished at more than one instrument in a lifetime. It's common to find a great fiddle player that 'sort of plays mandolin and guitar. Thus, 'multi-instrumentalist' has become a casual term for a musical jack-of all-trades. "Laura is a blinding exception to that trend. I have been blessed by her talents on many occasions. It doesn't seem to matter if she's playing penny whistles, wooden flutes, Scottish smallpipes, border pipes, concertina or singing; she's among the greatest talent my ears have ever heard. Through intense study her gently spirit has gained mastery over some of the world's more difficult instruments to play. "I am not alone in believing that when Laura plays she has a spirit that sings with such beauty that the audience, in the studio, in the music hall or at home listening to her CDs is blissfully kissed by enchantment."

100. Speech By Mackenzie Bowell
Speech to the Senate on July 11, 1895, by the Prime Minister of Canada on the Manitoba Schools Question.
http://collections.ic.gc.ca/discourspm/anglais/mb/1107895e.html
Speech by
Mackenzie Bowell
at the Senate
July 11, 1895
per se Citizen of this city, neither am I responsible for what has appeared in the Hamilton Spectator . If he has been a constant reader of the Hamilton Spectator , he must know that although it is a strong Conservative paper, it is one of those journals that has always taken a decided position against interference with Manitoba, particularly upon this question. It is a paper perfectly independent of the government and of any but those who support it. Taking that view of it, I find a letter was written by one of the leaders of the Liberal party whether with the consent of my hon. Friend opposite me and consent of his leader in the House I am not prepared to say written by the hon. Member for L'Islet and published in a Quebec newspaper on this very question. We know if there is one man more than another in the province of Quebec who has expressed more frequent and extreme views upon this question than another, it is Mr. Tarte, the first lieutenant of Mr. Laurier in the Lower House. In dealing with this question he uses this language :
There is not in the whole Canadian following a man of any standing who is not aware that it is impossible under the present state of things to force Manitoba to submit to an educational law adopted by the federal power. Such a law can be enacted. It will not be enforced. It cannot be enforced if Manitoba resists, and unfortunately there can be no doubt as to that resistance.
