British actress/model/ producer/ Elizabeth Hurley initially received recognition for her outstanding portrayal of Christabel Bielenberg in the BBC drama Christabel (1988, written by the late Dennis Potter). She next broke into American film when she was cast as a terrorist named Sabrina Ritchie in the 1992's Wesley Snipes action film Passenger 57.
Hurley's career quickly skyrocketed after she wore the low-cut, risqué black Versace dress at the London premiere of Grant's 1994 movie, Four Weddings and a Funeral, which brought her a contract with top cosmetic house Estee Lauder.
