Our HERO! Biography Life Before Highlander: Adrian was born the son of a British father and an Italian mother. Although his family was not very drama-oriented, he decided he wanted to be an actor. Towards that end, he studied Shakespeare and performed in school plays, but his main focus was always on sports. He played semi-pro soccer and then traveled around Europe as a model (what a shock!). While still in Europe, he danced and choreographed for six years (Adrian in tight pants!) before moving to Los Angeles to seek out acting roles. According to his online chats, Adrian, in a previous life, was apparently a typist, hairdresser and a manicurist, thus explaining his typing skill. Life During Highlander: Part of the Highlander series is shot in Vancouver, B.C., and part in Paris, France. Shooting in Paris works out well for Adrian, drastically cutting down on the commute time to visit family members in Europe (and no, he is NOT related to Alexandra Paul of Baywatch fame). Highlander has become extremely popular in the United States and is apparently even more so in Europe, having been picked-up for a 5th season. | |
