Marlene Dietrich
She once said, "I dress for myself. Not for the image, not for the public, not for the fashion, not for men." Whether in a silk chiffon robe or top hat and tails, The Dietrich remains a fashion trendsetter. She invented re-invention long before Madonna and lived her life the way she pleased with maximum visual impact. Posted by Shelly at 8:23 AM Labels: lingerie style

  • I love quotations because it is a joy to find thoughts one might have, beautifully expressed with much authority by someone recognized wiser than oneself. In America sex is an obsession; in other parts of the world it is a fact. It's the friends you can call up at 4 a.m. that matter. We all regret our youth once we have lost it. I am, at heart, a gentleman.
