Once every four years, we dredge up the names Yamaguchi, Harding, and Boitano from the recesses of our collective memory in order to pretend weâre paying attention to the Winter Olympics. Needless to say, non-Olympic televised skating tends to be less competitive and a bit more⦠fanciful. The next two weekends promise to be doozies for ice skating fans, as Kurt Browningâs Gotta Skate VI (featuring the music of Barenaked Ladies) debuts on Sunday, followed by Gretchen Wilsonâs Country on Ice next weekend.
