AUTHOR PAGE A PBS Documentary based on the book Ten Sisters: A True Story will begin airing across the country on PBS in February 2008. Ask your local PBS stations for time and date. Mayhaven has always used original art and original designs. We want to acknowledge those artists and designers from time to time. Artists usually create the artwork. Designers arrange the art, add text, and sometimes add color or other elements.
One of the first designers we hired was Aaron Porter, one of the creative Porter family (see Cullen Porter, Todd Porter, Quintin M. Porter) . Aaron has his own successful computer consulting firm in the Minneapolis area, Solutions to Boot , but he has an extensive background in prepress and printing. Aaron designed the cover of some of our best selling books, Ten Sisters: A True Story, And Then She Was Gone, and Ed Asner and Burt Hall's Misuse of Power . We present the work he has designed here:
Mayhaven Authors and Artists The authors and artists are listed alphabetically. Click on the name, and if an interview for that author or artist is available, it will appear. Alford, Audrey Waggoner Cole

Who better than Lou Grant Source: pbs.org Ed Asner is a much admired actor best known for his television portrayal of journalist Lou Grant. He ... has been an outspoken activist and advocate for human rights, political freedom, and on labor issues. With retired government analyst Burt Hall, he is coauthor of Misuse of Power, a hard-hitting view of the political far right. BuzzFlash interviewed Ed Asner and offered Misuse of Power as a premium in October, 2005. Source: buzzflash.com Ed Asner, who starred on the Lou Grant and Mary Tyler Moore Show, has every reason to believe that UFOs are real because he has seen them. Asner knows from personal experience that the military has gone out of its way to silence UFO witnesses. Asner says, he was caught up in an extensive UFO scare that rocked the top brass of a military installation where he was stationed. The incident took place in the summer of 1952, while the actor was on duty at Ft. Monmouth, NJ. Asner insists that many of his Army buddies in the Signal Corps were seeing UFOs almost every day. There were both visual and radar observations. Source: timstouse.com
