CHARLOTTE MARY YONGE aged 21 Watercolour by George Richmond 1844 in the National Portrait Gallery his website is created to give Gutenberg readers some information about the life and works of Miss Yonge. Although her novels were very popular in the nineteenth century, very few of them were reprinted in the twentieth, and now most are out of print and difficult to obtain. A few are available from booksellers on the Internet, so I have included a link to ABE books.
