The 3-digit numbers preceding each reference are registration numbers in the reprint collection of the Institute of Zoology at the University of Ghent. If the 3-digit number of a given paper is highlighted, then reprints of that paper are (at least to my knowledge) still available and can be requested from the Librarian of the Institute. A recent study by Forrester Research found that people spend 34% of their media consumption time, including both home and work, on the Internet. That's slightly more than the amount of time they spend watching TV... High-speed connections have made the Internet more of a broadcast medium, offering an alternative to TV.
The American Museum of Natural History presents Preparing a Museum Group This 12-minute video, narrated by Ray de Lucia, features archival footage of Wilson working on the Fisher and Porcupine diorama in the Hall of North American Mammals. James Perry Wilson's great artistic skill and feeling are evident in many of the diorama backgrounds in the Hall of North American Mammals, including the majestic view of the Wyoming plains depicted in the Bison and Pronghorn Group. Wilson's views, whether of field, forest, or mountaintop, beautifully convey both the details and character of each scene and fuse imperceptibly with the scene's foreground. Each diorama represents a specific location, carefully selected in the field and faithfully depicted in the foreground exhibits and the background paintings. Arizona Highways Television is a series of programs devoted to exploring the highways and byways of Arizona. A June 4, 2005 program is titled "Painted Ponies," which introduces the carvings of world-renowned artist Buddy Tubinaghtewa. An October 16, 2004 program covers "75 years of the historic Heard Museum."

Reviewed by Mike Jecks All too often when I read a book by someone who has become famous, I find myself wondering what was the basis of his or her fame. The two main characters in this book are two whom Deaver has used before. Lincoln Rhyme, a consultant on "Criminalistics" to the NYPD usually, is now being consulted by the FBI and Immigration as well. A leading "snakehead", or transporter of illegal immigrants, was shipping some Chinese to America. Known as a murderer and rapist, all the major agencies want to catch him, but they turn to Rhyme when all their other sources fail. Rhyme is taciturn, ironic, and basically, so far as I could see, mostly pretty obnoxious, but because of that he’s also attractive in his eccentricity. In addition he’s all but paralysed, able to move only one finger. All his powers have been concentrated in his brain. Fuzhou Dragon bringing the illegals in towards the coast suddenly explodes, rapidly sinking, she is there, quickly running over the scene and finding, to her surprise, that some of the bodies have been shot.

The Lobster, the Squid
MBA candidates battle for future control of the swamplands
By Christopher Michaelson Published: Monday, February 23, 2004 Plot Summary
A real estate sales firm with questionable business practices sends a hot running corporate sales representative to a small underperforming office to inform them that they can either sell more or find new jobs. With countless sources of stress (not the least of which is the likely loss of their jobs) the salesmen struggle to reach their goals with bad leads and tough economic times. In addition, their office manager has been given the Glengarry leads (easy sales) as the carrot reserved for only those salesmen that are closers. Tensions rise as the competition heats up and someone breaks into the office and steals the Glengarry leads. Corruption, lying, and general sleaziness permeate the office and provide a glimpse into what individuals are capable of when their backs are against the wall.
In desperate circumstances, what does an MBA need to do to defend and protect livelihood, professional well-being, and personal dignity? A Lecturer in the Legal Studies department, Christopher Michaelson, went to the source - MBA candidates - to explore this theme for an Ethics Committee sponsored outreach effort. For this initiative, the Ethics Committee Outreach Co-Chairs, Andy Jensen and Tammy Park, requested articles, commentary, and ideas from the Legal Studies department faculty on anything from global business ethics issues to the role of ethics in day-to-day activities at Wharton. Responding to that request, this article is the product of an evening with David Mamet's Glengarry Glen Ross, along with some pizza, soda, and MBA candidates Nicholas Blawat, Christina Stevenson, Kelly Thorne, Paul Topping, and Marc Volpe.

Newsletter - Winter 1997 - 1998 PHYSICIANS FOR COMPASSIONATE CARE NEWS Affirming An Ethic That All Human Life is Inherently Valuable Vol.1, No.1, Winter, 1997-1998 PCC OPPOSES ASSISTED SUICIDE November 4, 1997, the minute the drop boxes closed on the vote-by-mail election, local TV broadcasting networks flashed computerized results that had been ready most of the day. Reporters told Oregonians that voters were rejecting Measure 51 by a 20 % spread. Measure 51 would have overturned Measure 16, a law that legalizes doctor-assisted suicide. The exact figures were released on the state’s Internet web page, December 5th: Yes on 51 445,830 votes; No on 51 666,275. Dr. William Toffler, Physicians for Compassionate Care (PCC) president, declared that the election sent "a profound shock wave over the entire state, the country and, indeed, the world." He said legalization of assisted suicide would undermine "the medical ethics that safeguard patients and assure that all human life is treated equally, and with dignity and respect." PCC's formal efforts to oppose medical killing actually began in March of 1997, when the organization sent Dr. Gregory Hamilton to Washington, D.C., at the invitation of the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Health and Environment. Hamilton presented PCC’s testimony against assisted suicide. In preparation for that testimony, the PCC Board compiled and refined medical data that would eventually lead to Oregon's repeal effort (Measure 51). PCC’s testimony in Washington, D.C. contributed to passage of a federal law forbidding use of any United States funds for suicides.
