BILLY WRIGHT CBE 1924-1994 Billy Wright was born at Ironbridge, Shropshire on 6th February 1924, but as a young frail-looking lad he was turned away from Molineux by the manager, who told him he was too small to become a professional footballer. He did however become one and went on to be the first player to win over 100 caps for his country. He was voted ‘Footballer of the year’ (1952) and won 3 Championship medals with Wolves. In June 1959, he was awarded the CBE - for services to football and it came appropriately a month or so before he retired from the game.

Il sito della Biblioteca dei Miei Ragazzi ha scoperto, con un paziente lavoro di ricerca e la cortese assistenza della Editrice Claudiana, che "Il fanciullo che venne dal mare" di M. Giannini, no1 della collana Biblioteca dei Miei Ragazzi, è la versione italiana di un romanzo intitolato A child without a name scritto dall'inglese Evelyn Everett-Green, pubblicato a Londra da Religious Tract Society nel 1887. Una versione anonima del romanzo, apparve in Francia col titolo "Un enfant sans nom", pubblicato a Tolosa nel 1888 (rist. 1897) dalla Société des Livres Religieux. le traducteur du "Ministère de l'enfance", de "Pris au Lacet, etc.. "Ministère de l'enfance, ou les Jeunes messagers de miséricorde", de Maria Louisa Charlesworth, Société de livres religieux, 1857 Original Title: "Ministering children: a tale dedicated to childhood" by Maria Louisa Charlesworth, 1854 (BNF) Smith, Hannah (pseud.
