British agent Nayland Smith and Sir Lionel Barton, an official at the British Museum, hope to find the tomb before Dr. Manchu can carry out his nefarious scheme of world domination. But shortly after Sir Lionel reveals his plans for an expedition, he is kidnapped by Manchu's henchmen.
