http://www.irishnews.com/championship2005/football/cavan.html
A player noted for quickness about the football pitch, playing wing half-back for Cavan, he jokingly (light tone definitely detected) replied:
Peter is now into his 11th season playing senior football for Cavan, first as a forward, latterly as an attacking wing-back, much in the same way Anthony Forde and a few others have switched from forwards to defence.
The following season he experienced what it felt like to win, defeating Antrim 2-11 to 0-8.
Cavan went on to qualify for the provincial final against Tyrone. It was to prove the beginning of a revival for the county. Two years later, Martin McHugh managed them to Ulster success.
Peter turns 30 next July and remembers the first time he walked through the turnstiles at the top of the hill, looking down into the natural, grass-banked amphitheatre of Breffni Park, to savour the colour, atmosphere and drama of Senior Championship football.
He was one of 15,000 crowded faces straining to see the derby action against Monaghan as the Cavan of King, his namesake Jim, Carolan, Cullivan and Faulkner took on McCarville, McEneaney, Hoey, the Murrays, Nudie and Clerkin.

OpenBSD in a Datacenter Scale Environment
Traditionally, BSD has been a high-end server platform prized for its stability, interoperability, and scalability. These points have all come into question recently as commercial Unix vendors such as HP and Sun tout their products as an "enterprise solution" offering scalability superior to free systems such as Linux and BSD. OpenBSD specifically has suffered from this label, accented by its lack of SMP support and other high-end hardware compatibility issues. However, my investigations into OpenBSD's use in high traffic environments uncovered the

Java programs can dynamically load Java classes from a variety of sources, including untrusted sources, such as web sites reached across an insecure network. The ability to create and work with such mobile code is one of the great strengths and features of Java. To make it work successfully, however, Java puts great emphasis on a security architecture that allows untrusted code to run safely, without fear of damage to the host system. The need for a security system in Java is most acutely demonstrated by appletsminiature Java applications designed to be embedded in web pages. When a user visits a web page (with a Java-enabled web browser) that contains an applet, the web browser downloads the Java class files that define that applet and runs them. In the absence of a security system, an applet could wreak havoc on the user's system by deleting files, installing a virus, stealing confidential information, and so on. Somewhat more subtly, an applet could take advantage of the user's system to forge email, generate spam, or launch hacking attempts on other systems. [1] Applets are documented in Java Foundation Classes in a Nutshell (O'Reilly) and are not covered in this book. Still, they serve as good examples here.

Transparent Database Access with ADO.NET
by Nick Harrison
The Dream
The dream of transparent data access is to not have to care about where the data is coming from. You have more important things to worry about, like providing a nice user interface and getting the business logic right on time. Ideally, it should not matter if the data is coming from SQL Server, Oracle, Outlook, or anywhere else useful data may be stored. It should not matter if you choose to develop against Access at home, SQL Server in development, and use Oracle in production. In a perfect world, we shouldn't have to rewrite our code in order to use a more efficient data access provider, but we do have to work for this dream.
The Problem
Unfortunately, data sources are different and need to be treated differently. What works well for one data source may not necessarily work well for another, and coding to the lowest common denominator in database functionality does not allow us to take advantage of the strengths of any one platform. This causes our code to be less efficient than it needs to be.

100. Wing TV - Connect The Dots
Which brings us back to Bill O’Reilly – here’sa guy with more clout than any other broadcaster in the business. He’sa charttopping author, he’s rich,
http://69.28.73.17/oreilly.html
Connecting the Dots
Bill O'Reilly: Revolutionary? Nah.

by Victor Thorn
Bill O’Reilly, on the other hand, isn’t afraid to step on a few toes or take a swing. The biggest problem with him, though, is that he’s not telling us the truth about 9-11, government drug trafficking and money laundering, the Clinton’s propensity for killing their enemies in cold blood, or how the Globalists are deliberately debilitating this nation. In fact, I’ll even go so far as to say that the supposed “no-spin” pundit is precisely part of the world’s problems because he won’t expose these glaring injustices, or offer some viable solutions.
Sure, O’Reilly is constantly “embattled” and criticized by the likes of The New York Times , Al Franken, and the liberal NPR crowd, but what is taking place is nothing more than another Hegelian divide-and-conquer plot where the stage actors are all playing their parts (oftentimes knowingly, but at others inadvertently). The saddest part is; the majority of people think this spiel is real. They’ll laugh at those who don’t know that professional wrestling is fake, yet they’re the same one’s who are sucked into this contrived Wizard of Oz drama scene.
Which brings us back to Bill O’Reilly – here’s a guy with more clout than any other broadcaster in the business. He’s a chart-topping author, he’s rich, and it’s safe to say that he’s pissed off at what’s taking place in this country. What if this guy with power, influence, and a balls-to-the-wall attitude finally got fed-up enough with those who are selling America’s soul down the creek and did something about it? Rather than simply scratch the surface during his commentaries, he actually stated exposing the devil transgressors in a real, meaningful way. And I don’t mean simply alluding to the folks who, for example, put explosive charges in Oklahoma City’s Murrah Federal Building and brought it to the ground; but blasted them out of the water with the glaring light of exposure.
