Picture above at the Adair family reunion on July 18, 1998: Norma June Hale Entrekin, Linda Kae Sherwood Hitchcock, and Jerry Allen Hitchcock.
The Historical Pinetop Cemetery is located in the White Mountains of North-East Arizona in Navajo County Zip Code 85935. Pinetop derived it's name from the nickname of a saloon keeper who served the Fort Apache Soldiers. The cemetery is located off Highway 260 (White Mountain Boulevard) and Penrod Lane next to Charlie Clark's Steakhouse. Directions are head south on Penrod Lane until it comes to an end. The cemetery is at the end of Penrod Lane about one-half mile off Highway 260. In the late 1800s Mormon Pioneers settled Pinetop and surrounding areas. The Pinetop Cemetery became in use as a cemetery about 1909. This list below of individuals buried at the Pinetop Cemetery is not perfect or complete. There are reportedly 628 people laid to rest here. This web site accounts for 221. If you know of any corrections please e-mail me at the address below with the information and source so we can make it as accurate as possible. Since this web site is not perfect or official, it is used mainly by family members and made primarily for them. Thank you for visiting my web site and hope you enjoy learning about our ancestors. Pre-1650 books in the Million Books Collection
This is a list of pre-1650 books in the archive.org Million Book and Canadian Libraries collections. At the current time the metadata for these books doesn't include any kind of subject heading, so I'm afraid this list is totally unorganized. There are currently 575 books on this sub-list. This page is large; please give it time to fully load. When you click on a book, you will be taken to a page where you can download it. These books are stored in "djvu" format, so you will need to download a djvu client to read them. See what's new on this list. This list is made by a not-very-smart program; if you spot a book which doesn't belong here, or know of a book that's missing, please suggest The list is updated monthly. Other large collections of books can be found on the SCA Books page.

Committee to Review Australian Studies in Tertiary Education
Supported Pages Current Supporters Former Supporters Foundation Supporters Financial support for work on the Guide to the Archives of Science in Australia came from three sources. The project was initially funded by a grant from the Committee to Review Australian Studies in Tertiary Education (CRASTE) in late 1987. CRASTE was established by the Commonwealth Department of Employment, Education and Training in connection with the Australian Bicentenary celebrations of 1988. Though it was realised from the outset that this grant would not be sufficient to see the task completed, it did allow the collection of a significant amount of data and the establishment of a database system to handle the information. A grant from the Helen M. Schutt Trust in late 1988 allowed for the further collation of data and its entry into the database. Then in late 1989 the National Centre for Research and Development in Australian Studies (now the National Centre for Australian Studies) at Monash University provided sufficient funds to see the remaining data processed and the output prepared for publication. The National Library of Australia also provided funds to allow work to continue on the database, specifically the collation and assemblage of data in a format suitable for use on the OZLINE network.
