Dialectical and Historical Materialism The tone and tendency of liberalism...is to attack the institutions of the
country under the name of reform and to make war on the manners
and customs of the people under the pretext of progress.
    Benjamin Disraeli
Speech In London, June 24, 1872
Karl Marx (1818-1883) adapted the theory of Uniformitarianism, and the darwinist notion of the "survival of the fittest," to his theory of "class warfare." This is the theory of Dialectical and Historical Materialism (the logic of conflict dealing with only the material things of this world), wherein one society (the thesis) clashes with another society (the anti-thesis), and results in the formation of a third and "better" (the "building-up" process) society (the synthesis). Supposedly Communism would clash with Capitalism, and the result would be the perfect Socialist state. The average American now expects a "new secular order," or "New World Order," to appear through the efforts of the United Nations or a United Europe, not realizing that it is only another socialist and totalitarian scheme. Even Christians expect the New World Order to appear soon, courtesy of the Anti-christ.
In practice, such socialistic things as a "common purse" or "holding all things in common" can only work successfully among very small units of people, usually among only a few families. As a positive force in society Socialism is a failure. When people are not allowed personal ownership and reward for their labors, individual initiative disappears. If everyone is to receive an equal share from the common store, why would anyone want to work harder or produce more than his neighbor?

Junto a él colaboraría Totsky .

Manjur Karim reminded me that today is the 115th anniversary of the death
    of Karl Marx.
These remarks are from Engels' farewell to his friend at Marx's graveside,
on the 17th of March, 1883:
" On the afternoon of the 14th of March at a quarter to three the greatest
living thinker ceased to think. Left alone for less than two minutes,
when we entered we found him sleeping peacefully in his chair - but for
    ever.
It is impossible to measure the loss which the fighting European and American proletariat and historical science has lost with the death of this man. Soon enough we shall feel the breach which has been broken by the death of this tremendous spirit. His name will live through the centuries and so also will his work." (from Franz Mehring, KARL MARX. Michigan: The University of Michigan Press, 1973, pp. 531-532).

    Prometejska komponenta
. Dopolnjuje se s prvo. Simbol èlovekovega prizadevanja, da ostane subjekt. Podreja stvarnost svojim potrebam. V delavskem razredu so skoncentrirane odtujitve, ta odtujitev bo vse moènej¹a in s tem bodo ustvarjanje objektivne mo¾nosti, da prevzame dru¾bo.
Razsvetljenska komponenta dru¾bena zavest ).

"Marx`s cardinal thesis, doubtless, was that ideas do not determine the course of history, but are themselves the product of other, objective historical forces. Yet it was precisely the faith generated by his own ideas that made them decisive in the shaping of events. Hence the very fact that Marx, despite the palpable shortcomings of specific intellectual constructions, became one of the most influential men ever born really validates the proposition that the irrational is the wellspring of our conduct. It is faith, after all, that moves mountains." Joel Carmichael: Karl Marx. The Passionate Logician, New York 1967, S. 249. John Plamenatz in: ders.: Karl Marx`s Philosophy of Man, Oxford 1975, Preface.
