Federal Depository Libraries . A few libraries known to have a reasonably full set are the Carnegie Library in Pittsburgh, the Free Library of Philadelphia (in microform), the University of Chicago library, and the University of California, Los Angeles. We're also now starting to see renewal records from years before 1978 go online. Right now, most renewal records for 1950-1954 are now online, allowing renewals for 1923 and 1924 to be checked for most types of books. In addition, book renewals for 1955-1977 are online. If you want to help get more of these records online, see
