Presidential health List of Presidents Text Version The Health and Medical History of President
John Kennedy
"When Kennedy ran for and won the presidency, he was essentially gambling that his health problems would not prevent him from handling the job. By hiding the extent of his ailments he denied voters the chance to decide whether they wanted to share this gamble. It is hard to believe that he could have been nominated, much less elected, if the public had known what we now know about his health." [

a mess From a medical standpoint, Kennedy was a mess. For example, there is the simple fact that Kennedy was hospitalized more than three dozen times in his life and given the last rights three times (see below). It will take Dr. Zebra awhile to organize and respond to the information that recently became available in The Atlantic Monthly in late 2002 [ ] and Professor Dallek's book [ ]. It is already clear to me, however, that Professor Dallek has not fully analyzed the implications of Kennedy's illnesses and medications.

The Christchurch Star and the assassination of John F. Kennedy, 1963.
President John Fitzgerald Kennedy (1917-1963)
In 1960 John F. Kennedy, a Democrat, was elected president of the USA. He was the youngest man, and also the first Roman Catholic, to be elected president. Of Irish descent, he was born in Massachusetts in 1917, the son of leading political figure Joseph Kennedy and his wife Rose. After graduating from Harvard in 1940 he entered the navy and served in the Pacific in World War Two (1939-1945). Back from the war, he became a Democratic Congressman from the Boston area, advancing in 1953 to the Senate. In 1956 he almost gained the Democratic nomination for Vice President. Four years later he was a nominee for the presidency, winning by a narrow margin over Republican candidate, Richard Nixon.

JOHN F. KENNEDY " W e dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first revolution. Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americansborn in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritageand unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the world. L et every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty ... In your hands, my fellow citizens, more than mine, will rest the final success or failure of our course. Since this country was founded, each generation of Americans has been summoned to give testimony to its national loyalty. The graves of young Americans who answered the call to service surround the globe. N ow the trumpet summons us againnot as a call to bear arms, though arms we neednot as a call to battle, though embattled we are but a call to bear the burden of a long twilight struggle, year in and year out, "rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation"a struggle against the common enemies of man: tyranny, poverty, disease and war itself.

The 35th President of the United States (1961-1963)
Whatever one's religion in his private life may be, for the officeholder, nothing takes precedence over his oath to uphold the Constitution and all its parts including the First Amendment and the strict separation of church and state.
John F. Kennedy , Interview, Look , March 3, 1959, from Albert J. Menendez and Edd Doerr, The Great Quotations on Religious Freedom If my church attempted to influence me in a way which was improper or which affected adversely my responsibilities as a public servant sworn to uphold the Constitution, then I would reply to them that this was an improper action on their part. It was one to which I could not subscribe.
John F. Kennedy , press conference, Houston, Texas, September 12, 1960, from Albert J. Menendez and Edd Doerr, The Great Quotations on Religious Freedom We do not want an official state church. If ninety-nine percent of the population were Catholics, I would still be opposed to it. I do not want civil power combined with religious power. I want to make it clear that I am committed as a matter of deep personal conviction to separation.

Conspiration Theories on the Assassination of John F. Kennedy
United States President John F. Kennedy was assassinated on Friday November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas, at 12:30 PM Central time. He was on a campaign and support trip through Texas in anticipation of the upcoming 1964 presidential election. Kennedy was fatally wounded by multiple gunshots while riding in an open-top automobile. Texas Governor John B. Connally was also severely injured .After Kennedy was murdered on the 22th of November 1963, Lyndon B. Johnson took over his presidency and set up the Warren Comission to investigate and write a report on Kennedy’s assassination. The report was completed in September 1964 and gave a detailed document on the event. But since 1964 many people began to question the truth offered by the Warren report. There are several theories in connection with the assassination, and who might have stood behind it, from which theories I intended to gather the most common ones :
    • Kennedy was going to drop Vice President Lyndon Johnson next election, so Johnson had motive, especially combined with the fact Johnson was being investigated for his part in 4 criminal scandals involving money, bribes, murder, etc. Or, Johnson was simply power-hungry, or was himself an agent of the mob with his own criminal entanglements
