Tea
A tea bush Tea is a caffeine containing beverage , an infusion made by steeping the dried leaves or buds of the shrub Camellia sinensis in hot water. In addition, tea may also include other herbs spices , or fruit flavours. The word "tea" is also used, by extension, for any fruit or herb infusion; for example, " rosehip tea" or " camomile tea". In cases where they contain no tea leaves, some people prefer to call these beverages "tisanes" or "herbal teas" to avoid confusion. Reid There has been much debate on this board over whether Senator Reid's comments about Clarence Thomas constituted some form of racism. I personally think it is foolish of conservatives to play the race card because it detracts from some of the more important issues related to Reid's comments. It calls to mind the actions of left-wingers over the past few years regarding George Bush and the war in Iraq. By obsessing over the notion of Bush as a "liar," or by calling the war a war for oil, they moved the debate away from more substantive issues, and therefore lost the opportunity to really engage the Nation in a serious debate about the merits of the war. (Yes, I know that not all leftists engaged in such behavior, but a significant number did and they seemed to garner the most attention). Similarly, by bringing race into this debate, conservatives are in danger of moving this conversation from some of the more disturbing aspects of Reid's words about Thomas.

Overview
Creator: Railroad Commission of Texas. Gas Utilities Division. Title: Permits screened Dates: Abstract: This series consists of permit forms and correspondence, dating 1974-1979. The Gas Utilities Division (later called the Gas Services Division) of the Railroad Commission of Texas screens a permit application to operate natural gas pipelines to determine if the operator is classified as a gas company or as a gas utility. Quantity: 2 microfilm reels Repository: Texas State Archives
Agency History
The Railroad Commission of Texas had its origin in the demands of the shipping public in the late 1880s which insisted that railroads be subject to regulation based on public interest. An advocate for governmental regulation, Attorney General James Stephen Hogg ran for Governor in 1890 with the issue of railroad regulation as the focal point of the campaign. Hogg was elected Governor in the general election and the voters also approved an amendment to Article X, Section 2 of the Texas Constitution that empowered the Legislature to enact statutes creating regulatory agencies. These elections paved the way for the Legislature to enact on April 3, 1891 "An Act to Establish a Railroad Commission of the State of Texas," that later was placed in the Texas Revised Civil Statutes under article 6444 et seq. (House Bills 1, 3, and 58, 22nd Legislature, Regular Session).

The trial court did not err in a double murder case by allowing testimony of defendant's other crimes of robbery with a firearm pursuant to Rule 404(b) because the evidence was relevant for some purpose other than to show defendant's propensity to commit this type of crime, and the trial court concluded under the Rule 403 balancing test that the evidence was more probative than prejudicial.
