HOOVER'S CEMETERY Hoover's Cemetery, known also a Mount Hope, and Athens Cemetery, is on the north side of SR-14, about three-tenths of a mile east of 650E - a few hundred feet east of the town of Athens, Henry Township, Fulton County, Indiana. A sign at the entrance reads "Hoover Cemetery, 1891."
Land for this cemetery was donated by Henry Hoover and William Rannells. William Rannells and his wife Susan were originally from Virginia, but removed to Ohio where they remained for some time before moving on to settle east of Athens, between Rochester and Akron, in Fulton Co., Ind. They brought with them a young slave girl, Fannie Rose, who died in 1855. She was buried in the Rannells family burial ground which was later made a part of Hoover's cemetery.
The cemetery is divided into four sections: North, South, East and West. Rows run north and south; rows are numbered from west to east; stones read from north to south.

CD-ROM EDITION
The genealogy of the Roosa family starts in The Netherlands in 1595 with the generation that
precedes the immigrant, and traces the family through fourteen generations to current times. The
book consists of 1,034 pages, and includes 8,665 connected names. Even so, no claim is made that
this work is completely exhaustive. A complete index is included.
Three items have been added to the bibliography of this edition, and the one known error in its
predecessor has been corrected. In two instances, alternate data has been added where there is disagreement regarding interpretation of the data. New research is required to resolve these two items. One main attribute of the current edition is that the technology used enables the book to be made available to buyers at less than one-half the cost of the original paper-printed bound product; thus

This listing of burials in a Colorado cemetery is a listing of only the burials where the headstone, or an associated marker, has an indication that the person belonged to one of the following organizations, or was a relative of the person who belonged to the organization. It is not meant to suggest that it is a complete listing of everyone buried in the cemetery, nor a listing of everyone from those organizations who is buried in the cemetery. For the most part the organizations began putting the identification on the tombstones in about 1880 and quit about 1935, though a few are occasionally seen with later death dates. Abbreviations WOW = Woodmen of the World MWA = Modern Woodmen of America Women = Women of Woodcraft Neigh = Neighbor of Woodcraft WC = Woodmen Circle SFWC = Supreme Forest Woodmen Circle * Upright stump. # Fancy horizontal sandstone log + Other odd shapes, ie., urns, balls, pillars
