John Wheat (d. 1711) of Prince George's County, Maryland
Updated October 23, 2004
Rev. Thomas Wheat married Hannah Bonham Patterson on 13 September 1810, possibly at the inn kept by her father Benjamin in Corning, Steuben County, New York. This place has been preserved as the Benjamin Patterson Inn, Corning-Painted Post Historical Society, 59 W. Pulteney St., Corning, NY 14830-2212, (607) 937-5281. Hannah descended from the Boone and Lykins families.
These families are detailed in the Marc Wheat database at http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=marcwheat
Rev. Henry Haeger was the first German Reformed pastor in North America, serving the Germanna Colony of 1714 (see history at http://www.germanna.org/). The Fischback and Rector families are his descendants. See http://www.rootsweb.com/~gumby/cgi-bin/igmget.cgi/n=Oldham?I14874. The Memorial Foundation of the Germanna Colonies in Virginia, Inc. organizes annual family reunions near Culpeper, Virginia the third weekend of July for descendants. I hope to see you there!
Many Wheats descend from these families: Ball, Conway (see Oldham database above) Boone, Lykins, Mason (see http://www.iocc.com/~swright/mason.html), Maugridge (see http://www.booneinfo.com/scroggin/mogridg1.htm), Oldham, Patterson (see www.rootsweb.com/~nysteube/pg10.html), Reynolds (http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/m/a/z/Vicki-R-Mazur/GENE4-0016.html), Taggart, Vanderbilt.

FAIRVIEW CEMETERY Fairview Cemetery is located southeast of Mill City and southwest of Gates in Linn County, Oregon, T10S, R3E, Section 34, and was established in 1883. This cemetery surveyed by Cathy Morgan in 1999, and donated for genealogical research purposes only. Cathy says, "I might explain that I only surveyed the East and Middle sections. The West Section are all fairly new stones from recent burials so the cemetery information is not complete. Since there were no old stones in that section, I thought it could wait until I had another day up there." East Section: Phyllis Hill

  • 106. Gustave Aimard - Jim L'indien
    http://www.roman-daventures.info/auteurs/france/aimard/aimard-jim/aimard-jim-pre
Présentation de l'oeuvre. C hapitre I II ... XII et Epilogue Page consacrée à Gustave Aimard. Autres feuilletons.
