Vernon Overlee Overlee's face. The Spirit, Henry Drummond has used Overlee to write several books via automatic writing. For 20 years Drummond wrote a magazine column through Overlee, answering questions sent in by subscribers. In 1966 Overlee was used by the Spirit Doctor Robert, and his associates 14 hours every day for 138 days to bring healing and psychic surgery through him. Since then he is only used for healing at his demonstrations. Since his retirement from business, Overlee has demonstrated for the public over 450 times in 137 cities and in 8 different countries: his 2 hour demonstrations consist of healing, clairvoyance, transfiguration, and with Drummond answering questions, from the audience clairaudiently, bringing conclusive proof that life continues on, in a much better state, after the death of the physical body. Over 80% of the people who attend Overlee's demonstrations are opened by Spirit so that they too can be used by the Spirit Doctors to bring absent healing to those who are in need. They are aware that Spirit is using them. They can actually feel the Spirit Doctor, who has been assigned to them, as he has taken possession of their hands while he brings his wondrous healing power through their hands.

    V. OVERLEE
    MEDIUM
At the age or 37 V. Overlee was unexpectedly opened to the World of Spirit by a man who had died in Nepal 221 years before. His name is Mohabis. The invisible Mohabis suddenly took control of Overlee's arm and forcefully started writing. The writings were of a serious, intelligent nature, such as the statement, "God is the good in man and the good in man is God".
This was Overlee's first mediumistic opening to the World of Spirit. Over the past 43 years his opening has continued to expand as on a daily basis additional knowledge and capabilities have been reached.
    Mohabis
Overlee soon found that he could safely let Mohabis write through him by saying an opening prayer, which opened him to the World of Spirit. When Spirit is through using him, Overlee shuts himself off, from Spirit, by saying a closing prayer. After writing through Overlee for the next two years, Mohabis wrote, "I will bring others. Mohabis' writing stopped. A Chinaman immediately replaced him by the name of Chien Sie, who had died in 1749. He wrote through Overlee for the next 2 years, then Henry Drummond replaced him. However, Chen Sie remained and became Overlee's "Control". Now it is he who allows other Spirits to come into Overlee's Aura and use him. While remaining in the background, Chen Sie enables Spirits to not only write, but also speak, using Overlee's voice box (or their own voice box depending upon the depth of Overlee's trance). Spirits appear on Overlee's face as an overlay (transfiguration) making themselves partially visible to many in the audience. Spirits can also affect him clairvoyantly, this means he is aware of what they show him inspirationally, and can describe it. While Overlee is in trance, they can use his Vital Life Force (ectoplasm) to produce materializations, and other forms of Physical Mediumship, when the occasion arises.

Ronnie Solomon 07734169090 Weymouth UK Posted by Anonymous January 30th, 2004 I first saw this book on a bedside table while visiting with a relative. After reading most of the address on Love, when I got home I bought a copy of all addresses. Reading it lead to a deeper study of scripture, and ultimately I was lead to turn over my will to that of God completely, without reservation of any kind, and currently serve Him in my daily walk. He opens a door and I walk in. I credit Drummond's work a great deal in this. Next the the Bible itself, I think "The Greatest Thing In The World" is of utmost benefit. A MEMORIAL SKETCH BY W. ROBERTSON NICOLL
    Henry Drummond 1851-1897
After completing his University course he went to the New College, Edinburgh, to be trained for the ministry of the Free Church. The time was critical. The Free Church had been founded in a time of intense Evangelical faith and passion. It was a visible sign of the reaction against Moderatism. The Moderates had done great service to literature, but their sermons were favourably represented by the solemn fudge of Blair. James Macdonell, the brilliant Times North British Review was the organ of the Free Church, and did not stand much behind the Edinburgh and the Quarterly , either in the ability of its articles or in the distinction of many of its contributors. But especially the Free Church showed its wisdom by founding theological seminaries, and filling their chairs with its best men. A Professorship of Divinity was held to be a higher position than the pastorate of any pulpit. As time went on, however, and as the tenets of the Westminster Evangelicalism were more and more formidably assailed, the Free Church came in danger of surrendering its intellectual life. The whisper of heresy would have damaged a minister as effectually as a grave moral charge. Independent thought was impatiently and angrily suppressed. Macdonell said, writing in the Spectator
    Expositor
and it is worth while recalling briefly the main points. (I) His critics rejected his main position, which was not that the spiritual laws are analogous to the natural laws, but that they are the same laws. To this he replied that if he had not shown identity, he had done nothing, but he admitted that the application of natural law to the spiritual world had decided and necessary limits, the principle not applying to those provinces of the spiritual world most remote from human experience. He adhered to the distinction between nature and grace, but he thought of grace also as forming part of the divine whole of nature, which is an emanation from the recesses of the divine wisdom, power and love. (2) His use of the law of biogenesis was severely attacked alike from the scientific and the religious side. Even Christian men of science thought he had laid dangerous stress on the principle
