Southern New England Irish Home Up Families Miscellany ... Photo Album St. Mary of the Bay Cemetery, Vernon Street, Warren RI
St. Mary of the Bay Cemetery in Warren appears to be an older cemetery than St. Mary's in Bristol, probably established in the 1860s. However, many of the families appear to be connected or related to those buried in Bristol, and so both cemeteries should be checked for related families. Many of the headstones in Warren cite the place of death as Bristol. St. Mary's in Bristol has a small section of Irish burials, but is for the most part Italian and Portuguese. Names in bold appear in the RLIN record. The correspondence retains, where known, the original Lane filing arrangement. Thus a letter originating from one person or corporate entity may be found under a different name if it was so filed in the Lane records. The parenthetical "with" references in this index will help guide the researcher to the appropriate location within the files.
