Nomo, making his second start of the year, tossed the major leagues' first shutout of 1996, a three-hitter in which he walked five and struck out six. In a game that matched two of the NL's best pitchers, Glavine gave up only five hits and one run in seven innings, striking out nine. But he gave up three of those hits in the third inning, when a Raul Mondesi single capped the game-winning rally. Go about .7 miles, turn right on Conley Road (sign to Glen Alpine). Follow this to Main Street. Cross Main and then railroad tracks, turn left on Linville Road. About 2 blocks you come to a 4-way stop. You can see Glen Alpine UM Ch on the left about a half-block from the 4-way stop. This appears to be an old cemetery. All of the markers are legible but there are large empty spaces where markers could have been. I was unable to talk with anyone to confirm this. I started this audit on November 26, 1998. To assess the extent of his injuries, the ED physician orders focused assessment with sonography for trauma (FAST). Let's examine what FAST can reveal about Mr. Cox's condition. FAST facts A noninvasive 3-minute diagnostic test, FAST helps the clinician evaluate abdominal and chest injuries in a trauma patient with hypotension or altered consciousness. The test, which assesses free fluid in the pericardial, perihepatic, perisplenic, and pelvic regions, is used in most Level I trauma centers to identify intraperitoneal hemorrhage and pericardial tamponade.
