The following important information is for individuals who currently have a claim with C3 Aventure Limitée/C3 Leisure Limited dba Canada 3000 Holidays . To determine if you are a Canada 3000 Holidays claimant, please verify that your claim number begins with a "V" (confirmation of claim #).
Please be advised that distribution payments for claimants of Canada 3000 Holidays were issued by the Judicial Trustee on July 25,2003 and all claimants should have now received 50% of their secured claim amount.
For those claimants who may be covered under the British Columbia Travel Assurance Fund or the Travel Industry Council of Ontario, you should have completed and submitted the appropriate forms to them. Our understanding is that the claims will not be finalized by them until PricewaterhouseCoopers has issued the final dividend to Canada 3000 Holidays claimants.
On April 06, 2004, the Court convened to review disbursement payments and other issues relating to claimants of Canada 3000 Holidays. The Court has approved most of the recommended changes and has acknowledged that PricewaterhouseCoopers is still attempting to retrieve additional funds to allow for a final distribution of funds to the claimants of Canada 3000 Holidays.

Mary Breese ( The following is from a typed manuscript title: The story of the coming of Abraham Wood and his wife Mary Breese Wood to Lansing, Tompkins Co. By Isabelle Harper Wood Parish, written in 1957 - most from papers left by my father, Albert Wood . Mary Breese (1774 - 1851) was the daughter of Henry Breese (1753 - 1835). I believe Henry followed his daughter to New York purchased land (lot 54) before moving on to Horseheads, New York. The text for this section was scanned and converted to text using optical character recognition software. The original text was typed with all caps and I made no attempt to correct the spelling. Formatting was enhanced to facilitate reading. AMASA WOOD, HIS SON, GAVE ME HIS SON, THESE ITEMS FROM MEMORY ON MARCH 25, 1894. MISS WHITNACK, (MY PATERNAL GREAT GRANDMOTHER) WAS HEIR TO 600 ACRES OF LAND NEAR MORRISTOWN, NJ, WHICH WILLIAM ALEXANDER, WHO WAS CALLED BY COURTESY LORD ALEXANDER (DIED JANUARY 15, 1783) BY VIRTUE OF AN PATENT FROM KING GEORGE III, LOCATED ON AND CONFISCATED. LORD STERLING HAD AN AVENUE CUT THROUGH THE WOODS OF THE ESTATE. THIS AVENUE WAS 2 MILES LONG AND PLANTED ON BOTH SIDES WITH CHERRY TREES. THE CHERRY TREES NOW ON THE OLD HOMESTEAD WHERE HORATIO BROWN LIVED WERE FROM PIT BROUGHT FROM THIS FAMOUS AVENUE. IT IS SAID THAT MARY BREESE WOOD CARRIED ON HER LAP A CHERISHED TEAPOT WHICH WAS FILLED WITH THESE CHERRY PITSON THE JOURNEY FROM NEW JERSEY TO LANSING, NY.

MISSIONARIES OF MERCY
Updated: September 1st, 2005
Bringing about the Kingdom of God isn't a matter of what we do so much as a matter of what we are.
  • As Catholics all are called to be missionaries.
  • Many are called to become missionaires:
    • By praying, for the Kingdom to come.
    • By offering up to God their sufferings and other earthly burdens, in behalf of those laboring in the field to achieve the Kingdom.
    • By joining their hearts to their brothers and sisters in Christ whom God has sent "to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit..."
It is in these and other holy ways that many are called to become members of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity as Missionaries of Mercy. They serve Christ no matter where they are or what afflictions of age or illness they may bear. Missionaries of Mercy are members of the Society of our Lady in this life and the next:
    • - Bonding themselves in graced friendship to other SOLT members working for the Kingdom.
    • - Sharing in the graces of repentance and conversion that abound as SOLT members labor in the vineyards of the Lord.

    • Integrated systems: Responsible: Dr. Luis Pérez del Villar
Descriptors Radioactive waste disposal; hihg–level radioactive wastes; geologic models; natural analogue; engineering geology; carbon dioxide; radionuclide migration.
Objectives To keep the excellence level of knowledge on the characterisation and evaluation of a deep geological disposal of radioactive wastes and to apply its expertise on the CO disposal.
Characterisation of materials, identification and modelling of those processes that determine the behaviour of a deep geological repository (DGR) and/or a CO disposal for their application to the long-term safety assessment of persons and environment.
Long-term characterization and modelling of the events and processes which describe the geological and climatic evolution in a geological disposal.
    R+D Activities
    • Physico-chemistry and radionuclide migration
    • Engineered barriers
    • Geological barrier: granites and clays
    • Natural Analogues
    • Performance Assessment
    • Selection of favourable formations for the CO disposal
    Present Situation
  • Unit: Engineered and Geological Barrier
    Physico-chemistry and Radionuclide Migration:
a good scientific and technical capacity has been accomplished to determine the sorption and radionuclide transport parameters in geological materials. Likewise, the problems concerning the change of scale and the possibility to extrapolate the sorption and transport parameters to the engineered barrier material, whose anisotropy and heterogeneity increase with scale, are being studied.

The Clay Shaw trial testimony of Nicholas Tadin, continued CROSS-EXAMINATION BY MR. DYMOND:
Q: Mr. Tadin, you say this took place in 1964? A: Yes, sir, about that time. Q: Could you tell us what month that was in '64? A: It was in the later summer months, in the later part of the summer. I couldn't tell you exactly what month, but it was in the later part of the summer. Q: Now, what are you referring to as the "summer months"? A: Could have been around July. Q: Well, now, you say it could have been around July or it was during July? A: It could have been around July. Q: Could it have been around June? A: Could have. Q: Could it have been around May? A: I couldn't answer that far. Q: Could it have been around A: It could have been between June and August, I will put it that way. Q: Between June and August? A: Right. Q: Now, what building is that that you say Mr. Shaw came out of at that time? A: At the big hangar on the right-hand side as you come from Dymond Road and make a turn, and there is an incline, and the building on the right, which was a large building, not the large door but that small door, he and Dave came out of there. Q: Now, how big is that hangar?
