    Taxonomy: categories and classification schemes
The taxonomy module is one of the most popular features because users often want to create categories to organize content by type. It can automatically classify new content, which is very useful for organizing content on-the-fly. A simple example would be organizing a list of music reviews by musical genre. Taxonomy is also the study of classification. The taxonomy module allows you to define vocabularies (sets of categories) which are used to classify content. The module supports hierarchical classification and association between terms, allowing for truly flexible information retrieval and classification. The taxonomy module allows multiple lists of categories for classification (controlled vocabularies) and offers the possibility of creating thesauri (controlled vocabularies that indicate the relationship of terms) and taxonomies (controlled vocabularies where relationships are indicated hierarchically). To delete a term choose edit term . To delete a vocabulary, and all its terms, choose

History and Taxonomy
Gourds have been cultivated for thousands of years by many cultures worldwide, including Native Americans, for their usefulness as utensils, storage containers, and as ornaments. Gourds are related to melons, squash, pumpkins, and cucumbers, all members of the Cucurbitaceae or Cucumber family. There are three types of gourds covered in this fact sheet: the cucurbita, or ornamental gourds; the lagenaria, which encompass the large, utilitarian gourds; and the luffa, or vegetable sponge. The cucurbita include the colorful, variously-shaped ornamental gourds often used in fall arrangements. Plants of this group produce large orange or yellow blossoms that bloom in the daytime. The lagenaria group includes the Martin or Birdhouse, Bottle and Dipper gourds. These plants produce white blossoms that bloom at night. Lagenaria gourds are green on the vine, turning brown or tan, with thick, hard shells when dry. Luffas have an outer shell that is easily removed to expose a tough, fibrous interior that can be used as a sponge. Luffas produce prolific vines with yellow blossoms and require the longest growing season of all the gourds.

Appendix C: MCQs and Bloom's Taxonomy.
Contents of This Chapter
C1 Bloom's Taxonomy
Following the 1948 Convention of the American Psychological Association, B S Bloom took a lead in formulating a classification of "the goals of the educational process". Three "domains" of educational activities were identified. The first of these, named the Cognitive Domain, involves knowledge and the development of intellectual attitudes and skills. (The other domains are the Affective Domain and the Psychomotor Domain, and need not concern us here). Eventually, Bloom and his co-workers established a hierarchy of educational objectives, which is generally referred to as Bloom's Taxonomy , and which attempts to divide cognitive objectives into subdivisions ranging from the simplest behaviour to the most complex. It is important to realise that the divisions outlined above are not absolutes and that other systems or hierarchies have been devised. However, Bloom's taxonomy is easily understood and widely applied.

To assist those with a limited background in ornithology in understanding the terms used in this page, we have complied a brief glossary of terms. Throughout this site, we have attempted to simplify all terminology, however as this was not always possible, we have compiled this glossary for your use. This glossary defines 39 of the more technical bird terms used within this site. Along with the terms, we have provided simple labeled diagrams which outline the topography of a generalized bird. Should you wish to have some terms defined which do not appear in this glossary, we suggest you refer to any ornithology textbook for more information. One suggestion is "The Audubon Society Encyclopedia of North American Birds", by John K. Terres.

Abstract
The advent of software agents gave rise to much discussion of just what such an agent is, and of how they differ from programs in general. Here we propose a formal definition of an autonomous agent which clearly distinguishes a software agent from just any program. We also offer the beginnings of a natural kinds taxonomy of autonomous agents, and discuss possibilities for further classification . Finally, we discuss subagents and multiagent systems
Introduction
On meeting a friend or colleague that we haven't seen for a while, or a new acquaintance, some version of the following conversation often ensues:
What are you working on these days?
Control structures for autonomous agents.
Autonomous agents? What do you mean by that?
A brief explanation is then followed by:
But agents sound just like computer programs. How are they different?

Soil Taxonomy
In 1975, Soil Taxonomy was published by the United States Department of Agriculture's Soil Survey Staff. This system for classifying soils has undergone numerous changes since that time, and the 2nd edition was published in 1999. Soil Taxonomy remains one of the most widely used soil classification systems in the world.
At the highest level, Soil Taxonomy places soils in one of 12 categories known as orders. We have put together a collection of information and images to illustrate the distribution, properties, ecological significance, and use of these 12 soil orders.

The pufferfish genus Fugu Abe, 1952, a junior subjective synonym of Takifugu Abe, 1949. Bull. Natn. Sci. Mus., Tokyo, Ser. A. 18(1):15-20. Takifugu includes the species Takifugu rubripes (formerly Fugu rubripes), which is a well known model organism for the vertebrate genome.
