Therapeutic Immunology Group (TIG)
Welcome to our Home Page The Therapeutic Immunology Group is undertaking basic research into the mechanisms of immune tolerance and how these can be harnessed, using monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and other modern biotherapeutics, to develop clinical treatments for human diseases that involve disregulation or inappropriate reactions of the Immune System such as in autoimmunity or transplant rejection.
The Therapeutic Immunology Group is headed by:

The aim of the Australasian Society for Immunology Incorporated (ASI) is to encourage, promote and support the discipline of Immunology in the Australasian region.
What is the ASI?
The ASI was created by the amalgamation in 1991 of the Australian Society for Immunology, formed in 1970, and the New Zealand Society for Immunology, formed in 1975. It is a broadly-based Society, embracing clinical and experimental, cellular and molecular immunology in humans and animals. The Society provides a network for the exchange of information and for collaboration within Australia, New Zealand and overseas. ASI members have been prominent in advancing biological and medical research world-wide. We seek to encourage the study of immunology in Australia and New Zealand and are active in introducing young scientists to the discipline.
Benefits of ASI membership
Membership of the ASI offers a range of benefits, including:
