If your family is complaining of boredom this summer, load the car and head to Madison. DAILY Photos by Dan Henry
From left, Jonathan Taylor of Decatur and Terry Roal and Eddie Leach, both of Huntsville, were among recent scuba drivers exploring the quarry at Rock Divers Inc. in Madison. Rock Divers Inc. in Madison Aquatic Park offers fun for the whole family with swimming, scuba diving, kayaking or paintball. "We draw people from all over the place," said managera and dive instructor Earl Lindsey. "Like today, we've got divers from almost all the states in the South." The park sits on 115 acres with about 8 acres of water, making it one of the South's best inland dive sites. Lindsey took over Rock Divers four years ago and said the park has been open to the public 10 years. "It's a great job," Lindsey said. "I'm getting paid to get a tan."
