We have watched over 200 soccer coaching videos (DVD's and tapes) and read over 70 soccer coaching books. Unfortunately, most are not good, many are a complete waste of time and money, and some are actually counterproductive. We only sell videos and books that we truly believe are the best and worth buying, and that we can give 4 or 5 star ratings (on a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the best). Our ratings consider the quality, length and value of an item. We reject about 90% of the videos we watch. Category: Goalkeeping for boys, girls, or adults. This is appropriate for ages 10 and older. Combo Deals: We offer this DVD as part of one or more "Dream Deals" at special prices.

WORLD CUP 2002 IRELAND TEAMS FIXTURES HISTORY
A fruitless struggle awaits Denmark DENMARK PROFILE: The Danes' team-work is solid but they lack enough individual flair to outgun their rivals according to Paul Doyle After they besmirched Euro 2000 with their wretched play, no one could have anticipated Denmark hurtling to the top of a World Cup qualifying group containing the Czech Republic. But, after sacking coach Bo Johansson, that's just what they did, reaching the Finals without suffering a single loss. New manager Morten Olsen cajoled Michael Laudrup, the symbol of the successful generation the current crop must emulate, to briefly act as his assistant, but no one in the present squad comes close to taking his title as Denmark's most gifted player ever. Midfielders Martin Jorgnsen and Jesper Gronkjaer (neither of whom are guaranteed a starting place) certainly have the speed to trouble defenders, and attack-minded Dennis Rommendahl is a serious menace, but overall Denmark's prime asset is their team-work rather than individual flair.

United punish misfiring Italians
Inter Milan 1
Manchester United 1
(United win on aggregate 3-1)
PAUL SCHOLES was Manchester United's flame-haired supersub on a night of tingling European tension. Scholes came off the bench 14 minutes from the end of this frantic tie to score the vital goal two minutes from time which takes United into the semi-finals of the European Champions' League. And it came just at the right moment as Inter threatened to take the tie into extra-time. But that would have been unjust on United who passed surely the club's greatest test of nerve in the oppressive fervour of the San Siro stadium.
United may not have recorded their first win on Italian soil, but they did overcome all the dirty tricks that the Italians could throw at them on a night of high drama.
Yes, they lived on their nerves and their wits, and it took a string of fabulous saves from Peter Schmeichel to ensure the draw.
The Milanese had come hoping the return of Ronaldo, who made only his second start in two months, would rescue a season which was dying on its feet - out of their domestic cup, languishing eighth in Serie A and torn apart by in-fighting.

Shelbourne fail to capitalise on chances
Shelbourne
Neuchatel Zamax
SHELBOURNE will go to Switzerland for the second leg of their Intertoto Cup tie against Neuchatel Zamax next Sunday with the hopes of advancement in the competition still very much alive following their scoreless draw at Tolka Park.
However, had the Reds strikers not been completely out of touch with their finishing yesterday, then Shels could easily have the 2-3 goal advantage that their performance at Tolka certainly deserved going into the second leg.
After a very indifferent opening 20 minute spell, when there was hardly an incident of note, Shelbourne began to find their touch and as a result, the game opened up quite considerably. Up to that point, the Swiss visitors had looked the better side but despite their advantage in possession, their first real effort on goal did not come until 27 minutes when a powerful drive from central defender, Steven Keller, was saved low down by the new Shelbourne goalkeeper, Steve Williams.
Indeed, eventhough, Zamax did have spells in the game in which they dominated the trend of play, this really was the only occasion in the entire game when Shelbourne's goalkeeper really got anything serious to defend against.

A FEW WEEKS AFTER PLAYING the MetroStars on opening night at the Meadowlands, Columbus Crew midfielder Kyle Martino was still shaking his head over what he thought was a sure-fire goal from a right-footed blast he took at the top of the 18. On any other night, it would have found the back of the net. But not in East Rutherford, N.J., the place where would-be goals get knocked over the bar or punched to safety by the hands of Tim Howard. "You can hit a shot that you promise is going in or you think is already in the net, and he'll go and make the most mind-boggling save," says Martino. "He's a tough goalkeeper to beat."

Howard: I'll do it my way
Stuart Mathieson HANDY MAN: Howard signs on MANCHESTER United's £2.3m keeper import Tim Howard insists he doesn't want to become the new Peter Schmeichel.
But the 24-year-old American, who has signed a four-year Old Trafford contract, admits he has adopted the 'ugly' part of the legendary Dane's game.
Although Reds' goalkeeping coach Tony Coton believes the New Jersey-born United States international has the potential to aspire to Schmeichel's level at Old Trafford, Howard says he wants to be judged on his own merits. Flattering comparison
"If I try to be like Peter Schmeichel I am sure I will fail miserably," Tim told M.E.N. Sport.
"I just want to be who I am. I will pick from Peter's game and his qualities, as I already have tried, and combine them with mine. And if I can do that it would be great.
"But in terms of being him then it is impossible. I can only be myself and take it to another level.

Following agreement at a conference of the presidents and general secretaries of UEFA's 51 national members it has been decided that clubs taking part in the Champions League and UEFA Cup will have to include at least four homegrown players in their 25-man squads from the start of the 2006-07 season.
The quota will increase to six players in 2007-08, rising to a maximum of eight homegrown players by 2008-09. Arsenal's Robert Pires who has been involved in a war of words with France manager Raymond Domenech has been left out of the national squad for a friendly match against Sweden at the Stade de France, Paris on Wednesday February 9th.
Domenech claims it was for 'sporting reason' only.
