Well East Bengal stunned the Asian football circuit by reaching the Asean Cup finals and added a (rare) feather to India's hat by clinching a memorable victory which will be remembered for a long time. It is a pity that the world's most popular sport is played with enthusiasm in only sparse places in a vast country like India. The reason? There are many. People in India are absolutely head-over-heels crazy over that one game - Cricket. Naturally there is support and backing up only for youngsters exhibiting talent in cricket. Due to this, football and other sports are ignored and people remain unaware of the soccer scene in the world.
