Sharks show bite in 7-3 win
Thornton helps snap winless streak
11/16/02 - By Mike Lee
The Sharks took out some of their frustration on the Florida Panthers on Saturday night at the Office Depot Center in Sunrise, Florida by pasting the Panthers 7-3. Scott Thornton led the Sharks with a pair of goals and Mike Ricci added a goal and two assists to help break a five game winless streak. Recently signed defenseman Brad Stuart scored his first goal of the season. The seven goals was a season high for the Sharks, who won for only the sixth time this season.
Thornton, a key offensive fixture for the Sharks last season missed the first 14 games of the season because of a shoulder injury. His return couldn't have come soon enough for the reeling Sharks.
The recent returnee put San Jose on top at 10:38 by firing a pass from Mike Ricci into the Florida goal from in tight. Ricci was not credited with an assist, because his pass bounced off a Panthers defender out in front of the crease.

vs. Toronto Flyers won
Maple Leafs won It was a game not fair for either team to lose. But when the bell finally tolled, it was the Flyers who fell 4-3 in double overtime to Toronto in Game Three of their Eastern Conference Quarterfinal series at the Air Canada Centre Monday night.
Tomas Kaberle scored his second of two goals seven minutes, 20 seconds into the second overtime to claim victory and help the Leafs take a two-games-to-one lead over Philadelphia in the best-of-seven series. The teams will meet on Wednesday for Game Four.
“That was a classic hockey game,” Flyers Head Coach Ken Hitchcock said afterwards. “This was two teams with everything on the line, playing as hard as they could play.
“It was two desperate hockey teams not giving an inch and we knew Toronto would play like that the first game back here.”

Click on the following link to get to that create ranking list page

If you are turning in your draft list by e-mail you can just download this player list, and then cut and paste the player's entire line to your draft list (ending up with a draft list with players listed in the order you want to draft them). You do not have to delete anything (points, age, etc) - you can just leave the whole line as is.
