Financial terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed. In 2003-04, May led the Vancouver Canucks with 137 penalty minutes as the team won its first division title in 11 years. One of the game's toughest players, May is by all counts a very solid NHL forward, and he should help the Avs immensely... on the ice.
