Home Fowler I may not be an Olympic-caliber player or even have the work ethic of one, but I am not any different from those players because I play for the love of the game like they do. well For the first time women have taken the ice as part of Olympic hockey competition, a milestone the world has taken notice of. Eastern schools like Princeton, Harvard and Cornell have had programs for years and have produced many of the stars of the U.S. Olympic team. The wave has reached the Big Ten as well. Minnesota will soon wrap up its inaugural season as a varsity sport, and Ohio State will soon be joining them. But the Olympics are something I think even the athletic department will sit up and take notice of, something that the sport and the players deserve.
