The Owls scored twice in the first half, including once off a penalty corner, while Bates had a goal called back when junior Kim Holzer (Adams, Mass.) was whistled for not stopping the ball on a PC. The Bobcats outshot Keene State, 15-14, but several second-half saves on senior co-captain Amanda Schall (Chevy Chase, Md.) prevented Bates from breaking through.

66. UKRAINIAN PRO HOCKEY UPDATE (04/26/98)
But well into his 16th National hockey League season, there were fears an edge while being crushed by St. Louis Blues winger kelly chase on January 14.
http://www.ukrweekly.com/Archive/1998/179816.shtml
UKRAINIAN PRO HOCKEY UPDATE by Ihor Stelmach Andreychuk: healthy again, yet struggling to score The broken ankle healed faster than the broken heart. Dave Andreychuk, who saw his dream for a first Stanley Cup championship shattered when he suffered a non-displaced fracture of his left ankle in the New Jersey Devils' final game of the regular season, was finally able to leave the disappointment behind. "It was a tough summer," Andreychuk recalled in a brief trip down memory lane several months ago. Or should we say a trip down memory pain. "Two in a row. My first year here we didn't make the playoffs, and then last year I couldn't contribute." The Devils were primed for the 1997 playoffs when Andreychuk skated behind the net during a meaningless game on April 13 in Philadelphia. Knocked off balance by Flyers, rookie Janne Niinimaa, the big winger fell awkwardly on his ankle. He missed nine of the Devils' 10 playoff games, rushing back to play the final game against the Rangers, even though he truly wasn't ready. "If we had led the series, we would have thought a little more of resting him another game," said Coach Jacques Lemaire. "He was getting so close and he wanted to come back. That's why we did it."

Take 4th Place in WAHL
by Jenifer Proud
March 7, 2005 The Sublette County squirt hockey team traveled east this past weekend, March 5-6, for the State Wyoming Amateur Hockey League (WAHL) play-offs in Cheyenne. The Glaciers were the 3rd place team out of the West and 5th overall.
The first game for Sublette County was against Casper…the #1 team from the East. The Green put on a good show, fighting all the way to the final buzzer, but were outmanned by the quicker team. Aunders Hallsten saved a shut-out with two goals, one unassisted and one with the help of teammate Chase Anderson. Garrett Bartlett had a solid performance in net with 29 saves.
After a one-game break, the Glaciers were headed back on the ice, this time against the #2 team from the West: Rock Springs. Similar to their previous meetings, it was a show-down. Nick Gay was first on the board with a power play goal early in the first period. David Kelly followed suit 46 seconds later to give Sublette County a two-goal lead. Unfortunately, before the period ended, a slow rolling puck snuck into the Glacier net, firing up the Miners.
Rock Springs started the 2nd period with renewed enthusiasm. Although they got an early goal to tie up the game, the Glaciers held their composure. Hallsten found some room early in the third, sped down the ice alone, decked the goalie, and slid the puck past the goalie’s outstretched leg. The Green was back in control. Kelly found Connor Kingsbury open, and the Glaciers pulled the lead to two. Hallsten went solo for Sublette County’s 5th goal, and the Glaciers breathed a sigh of relief. Playing a little too much in cruise control, the Green almost lost in the last minute when Rock Springs earned two goals. "Saved by the bell" brought on a whole new meaning to the young team. Bartlett had 20 saves, and even though the Glaciers were out-shot by their southern rivals, they would be playing for 3rd place Sunday morning.

Moderator: Kelly is here and we're ready to begin. shriebs: What do you think the Blues need to upgrade over the summer and where do you think they should get it? draft, free agents, trade, farm system? Kelly Chase: I think they're going to need a couple of forwards (if we can't sign Scott Young) and one defenseman - possible a guy like Gary Suter to play with MacInnis. What was a favorite memory while playing with the Blues?

St. Louis Blues Hockey!
On the St. Louis Blues Hockey team there was a lot of trading. Since the 1991-1992 season, the Blues have traded everyone. The only person that has been traded and traded back is Kelly Chase. Kelly Chase is one of our best fighters. He's improved a lot since he's been traded. Kelly Chase is a great player.

Quality and quantity are often mutually exclusive, but sixth-year Ohio Wesleyan University field hockey coach Marge Redmond looks forward to having both on this season’s squad.
Redmond will look to 9 returning starters and 10 returning letterwomen to join a group of 7 newcomers to help the Battling Bishops return to championship contention in the North Coast Athletic Conference.
"We're as good as we want to be," Redmond said. "We've been able to hang with the best of them in the conference, but we should be able to do it more consistently this year."
Seniors Taneen Legree (Christiana, Pa./Octorara) and Natalie Pearson (Harrison, N.Y./Greenwich (Conn.)) lead the returnees on the Bishop attack line.
Legree led the team in scoring last year and was an honorable mention All-NCAC selection in 2003. Pearson, who led the Bishops in scoring in 2003 with 7 goals and an assist, returns after studying off-campus last fall.
Junior Abbey Kelley (West Bloomfield, Mich./Mercy)and sophomore Mackenzie Rader (Hingham, Mass./Thayer Academy) also are returning starters. Junior Tracy Cepnio (Madison, Tenn./Father Ryan), sophomore Kendra Gladieux (Toledo/Ottawa Hills), sophomore Kathleen Mayson (Cheltenham, Pa.), sophomore Whitney Mitchell (Brookfield, Wis.) and sophomore Jeannette Narwicz (Yardley, Pa/Notre Dame (N.J.)) return as well, and will join junior Drea Knox (Powell/Worthington Kilbourne), a transfer from Ohio State; and freshman Aisling Kerns (Glencoe, Ill./Woodlands Academy) to give the Bishops a deep attack corps.

Oldham and Castleford chase Kelly
Neil Barker OLDHAM and Castleford look set to battle it out to secure the services of Neil Kelly as coach.
The former Widnes boss, who has been out of the game since leaving the Vikings, is a leading contender for both posts.
Oldham, who this week decided not to renew the contract of coach Steve Molloy after finishing fourth in League One, will officially advertise the post next week, and Roughyeds' chairman Chris Hamilton, is expecting interest from overseas.
Relegated Tigers parted company with coach Gary Mercer at the end of the season, but the former New Zealand international immediately reapplied for the position and could be set for a surprise retrun, although Kelly is thought to be in the frame.
"The appointment of a coach is part of the process of looking back and looking forward," said chief executive Richard Wright.
"Gary has done a tremendous job in pulling things around these last few weeks. Certainly the players are playing a lot better.
