Welcome to my fight tapes webpage.. Hello-if interested in any of my tapes please email me and well hopefully do a trade-i dont sell any of my tapes just trade them.

2.Too North American traders,all my tapes which i am trading at the moment are PAL,which means unless you have a PAL/NTSC converter you will not be able too watch my tapes.If theres a tape on my list which you really want and its NTSC make me an offer and i might trade with you.

Matthew Barnaby is a unique person. Anyone who has witnessed him play will tell you that Matt is of a different breed. He doesn't show fear. He laughs when he shouldn't. He is one of the most hated players in the NHL... unless you are a Rangers fan! Off the ice, Matthew is still unique, but a lot nicer.
Matthew Joseph Thomas Barnaby was brought fighting into this world on May 4th, 1973, in Ottawa, Canada. His mother Sandra, and his older brother Brent raised him. Matt was not born into the best situation, and had to fight (literally) for everything he received. Matt always loved hockey, and would spend every Saturday night watching "Hockey Night in Canada" with his brother Brent. Matt began playing hockey when he was only 8 years old. He loved the Montreal Canadiens and his favorite NHL player was Dale Hunter. Full Biography

Matt was not born into the best situation, and had to fight (literally) for everything he received. Matt always loved hockey, and would spend every Saturday night watching "Hockey Night in Canada" with his brother Brent. Matt began playing hockey when he was only 8 years old. He loved the Montreal Canadiens and his favorite NHL player was Dale Hunter. Matt was a very good player and dreamed of playing in the National Hockey League. Those dreams almost ended when he was cut from his team at the age of 15. He tried again the following year - and was cut again. Matthew was humbled, depressed, and angry. He was also very confused; what could he dream of if not hockey? Luckily, Matthew has the best big brother anyone could ask for. Brent, who is 14 years older than Matt, helped him re-focus. He invited Matt to work at the mill with him. Matthew showed up at 6:00 AM and worked until 7:00 at night. Soon, Matt decided that he would commit himself to being the best player he could be.

RIP Soviet Hockey Wow! Great article here about the death of the Soviet system in hockey . Dallas' Sergei Zubov is considered to be one of the last big followers of the mechanical Soviet style. He loved that style so much, he got traded from the Penguins because he would never shoot the puck.
It's funny. People make a big deal about Soviet hockey, but the truth of the matter is, it owes a heck of a lot more to conditioning than it does to strategy. If you have 23 guys who don't get tired, you have a nice shot at winning the game. And the Soviet players did nothing but train all year. And not just hockey. Soccer. Weights. Flexibility. The Soviet "amateurs" of the 70s were supermen.
Of course Communism crumbled and minutes later everyone across the Soviet Union was dumping-and-chasing. By Kevin Paul Dupont, 3/7/2004 If the Bruins are still shopping and Makeover Mike O'Connell contends he is still fielding calls the last piece of the puzzle is an action forward, a leather-palmed, face-washing agitator. It's an element the Boston general manager has sought since first taking up residence in the front office 10 years ago this summer. P.J. Stock came close to filling the bill, but as much as a mini-cult figure as he became, Stock almost fought too much. A little too small, a little too bold, coulda used a few pounds. Good agitators are accomplished in the fine art of hitting first with stinging checks, then following up with a lot of lip that goads opponents into stupid penalties. Hit. Yap. Duck-and-cover. ADVERTISEMENT In case it slipped anyone's mind, the NHL trade deadline is Tuesday, 3 p.m., by which time the Capitals and Rangers will have just under a month left to fit their empty sweaters with Kevlar vests for Fan Appreciation Night. That's going to be one epic lesson in tough love in those hockey-forsaken cities. The tattered rags known as the Rangers, seen here Thursday night, have perhaps the best available agitator in Matthew Barnaby. The former Sabre, who will be 31 in May, isn't the 335-penalty-minute cruiserweight that he was in his earlier days hard by Lake Erie. He's far more, uh, refined, heading into last night with only 120 PIMs added to his previous career total of 2,100. Barnaby has gall, and legs, and just enough offensive touch to make him attractive to a team that suddenly has a lot of interesting pieces. To wit: Depleted though they may be, the Rangers at one point Thursday night rolled out Barnaby on their No. 1 power-play unit. He's good, but not quite that good.

For Denver, it was the Max Bull-Lukas Dora-Luke Fulghum combination, while Maine was bolstered by the play of Dustin Penner, Jon Jankus and Mike Hamilton. The Denver line looks different tonight, however, with Jeff Drummond in Dora's spot; the game-winning goal scorer from Thursday night has been suspended tonight for an unspecified violation of team rules. Dora was a Matthew Barnaby-like player who got under an opponent's skin. Drummond isn't a bad replacement, with 28 points on the year, but he doesn't have Dora's presence. Whoever wins tonight, they won't dispel the age-old saying: defense wins championships. Maine has the best goals-against average in the nation. Prestin Ryan is a dynamic presence for the Black Bears, and was at his best Thursday. The rest of their blue line is unheralded, but definitely capable. Mike Lundin is blossoming into a future star. Denver has allowed more goals, but defense has been critical to their success in February and March. If Bob Goodenow thought dealing with the league was tough, wait until he starts facing his own constituents. Bob Goodenow's posturing was in the best interest of some 40 or 50 players in the league. (AP) They by now must realize the mistake of following the NHL players association boss blindly down a thorny garden path. They have lost a year's worth of wages and possibly their careers. They were told they'd never have to accept a salary cap and then found themselves doing just that. Maybe by then, Goodenow will at least admit to them that the times have really changed. Forever. And as far as his membership is concerned, for the worse. "Usually, the best deal is the one that's on the table, so you don't help yourself by not finding a way to make it work," said Hall of Famer Marcel Dionne, who spent several years as a players rep during his 18-season NHL career. "Shutting down the league for a season or more isn't going to put more money in the owners pockets and certainly not in the players'. You have to see that reality." Goodenow didn't. Or he didn't want to. Certainly not in time to minimize the damages for those he represents. He has proved to be a brilliant negotiating strategist in the past, enriching his members dramatically in the dozen years he has led them, but this time he simply and arrogantly overplayed his hand.
