The explosive Howard Whetstone (who goes by Miko), slasher Marc Wilson, and marksmen Kyler Nunes should bolster the squad with an ability to contribute in a variety of ways. The Tigers should steadily improve as the season rolls along, and these talented young men gain experience as a unit. The Tigers start the season facing two top teams in Feather River College of Quincy, and then perennial state power Ventura!! Once again the CVC should be as rugged as ever, in what will undoubtedly be yet another exciting season of community college basketball. Reedley High graduate Pep Dekker is redshirting this year to concentrate on academics, but we except big things from him in the next two years.
