May 20 - The Amherst baseball team was ousted from the NCAA Regionals with a 2-1 loss to NESCAC rival Trinity College (33-7) at Whitehouse Field in Harwich, Massachusetts on Friday. The Jeffs concluded their season at 23-9-1, while Trinity improved to 2-0 in regional play and advances to face the winner of tonight's matchup between Wheaton College and Worcester State College. May 19 - The Amherst baseball team suffered a narrow 3-2 NCAA Regional loss to Wheaton College at Whitehouse Field in Harwich, Massachusetts on Thursday. Sophomore hurler Brian Donahue went the distance for the Jeffs, surrendering just four hits and one earned run as Amherst fell to 23-8-1, but returns to face NESCAC rival Trinity College tomorrow (Friday) at 3:30 p.m.
