in partnership with Brock Lesnar is an imposing young man. He has a body you often see chiseled from marble, not flesh and bone. His arms are thicker than most people's thighs, his back so wide you could hang a Picasso from it. He is 6 feet 3, 286 pounds of thick, rippled muscle. Just standing there in a shirt and pants, he looks like a football player after all the pads have been put on. The thing is, Lesnar doesn't just want to look like a football player. He wants to become one.

In her barely-there halter-top and her glossy red lipstick, she slithered into the giant's arms, set her chin on his chest, looked up into his eyes and delivered the message she had been sent to ask. "My friend Shawn thinks you're kinda cute," she said. Brock Lesnar was a bigger-than-life star of professional wrestling, ... Not Shawna. Not Shana. Shawn. The 6-foot-3, 290-pound Goliath, the guy who benches 475 pounds, squats 695 pounds, steamed. "Yeah?" the former pro wrestler said, his voice growing louder, his eyes getting bigger. Monday September 29, 2003 FIRST ANNUAL SETHSPEAKS AWARDS NL Manager of the Year AL Manager of the Year NL Rookie of the Year ... NFL “EXPERTS” PICKS AND THE WINNERS ARE… As promised on Friday , today, I will be announcing my 2003 Major League Baseball Award Winners . Last week, I gave out my Gold Glove choices . Today, I will announce my Managers of the Year, Rookies of the Year, and Cy Young Award choices. I lied a little bit though. I am going to wait until tomorrow to name my, maybe controversial MVP Award winners. I will also give out a couple other awards at that time, so be sure to check back tomorrow. These are some absolutely difficult decisions. I don’t envy the voters who have to develop their ideas of what each means, sift through the statistics, and make their choices. So, without further ado, here are my award winners: National League Manager of the Year Felipe Alou San Francisco Giants Jack McKeon Florida Marlins Dusty Baker Chicago Cubs Felipe Alou is the 2003 SethSpeaks National League Manager of the Year . Trader Jack McKeon is getting highly touted as the front-runner for this award, but I think that what Felipe Alou has done in San Francisco this year is amazing. If there is a one-man offensive team, it is the Giants, but somehow, Alou led the Giants to 100 wins. He fit good, but not exceptional, pieces around Barry Bonds (the likes of Grissom, Cruz, Durham, Alfonso, etc.). He had Jason Schmidt and Kirk Reuter, but also got solid performances from youngsters Jerome Williams and Jesse Foppert (as well as Damion Moss and Kurt Ainsworth, who wnet to the Orioles in a trade deadline deal for Sidney Ponson). Oh, and he didn’t have his closer, Trevor Hoffman, the whole year.

72. Big Update & Latest News On Brock Lesnar Getting Into The NFL
Apparently he did not due well on the football and agility drills and was with a capital P” by Vikings director of college scouting scott studwell.

Submitted by Richard Gray on Saturday, June 12, 2004 at 11:43 AM EST
  • Rumors continue to fill the air on which team if any former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar will go to if he does indeed make it into the National Football League. The Minneapolis Pioneer Press recently ran an article covering Lesnar’s workout for the Minnesota Vikings (the team that Lesnar has said that he would like to play for).
The article explains that the workout took place yesterday as Brock ran a 4.75 40-yard dash, which is quick for a defensive lineman. Apparently he did not due well on the football and agility drills and was labeled a “project with a capital P” by Vikings director of college scouting Scott Studwell.
Nevertheless, most sources within the NFL feel that despite Lesnar needing some work and being older than most rookies, he will eventually be signed by someone.

Black Magic Kennels believes in breeding, training and racing a "happy" dog team.
The "Vikings" 1 Female - 3 Males Born: May 2004
The "Vikings" litter is the result of a breeding between Ruby and Johnny that took place at a Beargrease checkpoint during Matt Blair's mid-distance race. In honor of Matt, we named the puppies after Matt and the Vikings he played with. The lone female is Fran (Fran Tarkenton) and the males are Matt (for Matt Blair of course), Chuck Foreman and Scott Studwell. In this photo they are only three months old but. We thought it was appropriate to name them after football players because they were HUGE when they were born. That is little Matty on the stump. We have already been free-running them down the road and they are running around 15 mph! NICKNAMES: Matty, Frannie, Studs and Mr. Big Ears (Foreman)

78. 2005 Minnesota Vikings Draft
However, there were concerns with Williams he didn t play football last year since and there is no way scott studwell would allow a kicker to be taken
http://www.simpleprop.com/wadE/nfldraft05.html
Scoring the Vikings 2005 Draft
- wadE There is something so simplistic about grading a team's draft. When only 50% of players drafted in the first round make it in the NFL (and the percentage falls quickly after that), how can you realistically rate how well a team did less than a week later? Don't you think it should take months, at least until training camp, or even years to properly evaluate and judge a draft? Probably, but that won't stop me and all the other rubes from doing it! Hey, our hair looks better than Mel Kiper Jr., so try and stop us!
A surprising lack of Kiper pics on Google The overall feedback from knowledgeable folks seems to be that the Vikings did pretty darn good in the 2005 draft. Couple that with an apparently successful Free Agency period, and many of these same "experts" say the Vikings are second to the Eagles in the NFC for this upcoming season. The NFL draft is starting to take on a life of its own. It's becoming an anticipated event. I'd say it's equal parts the NFL promoting the event, and the popularity of college football. But I digress, let's get down to brass tacks. Round 1: 7th Pick Overall
This pick came to the Vikings as part of the Randy Moss trade to Oakland. As expected, receiver Mike Williams was available at this point. Many people thought the Vikings would be lucky to get Williams. However, there were concerns with Williams: he didn't play football last year since he was caught in the same limbo as Maurice Clarett; additionally his 40-yard dash speed at the NFL combine was not great for a wide receiver. The rumor was that South Carolina's Troy Williamson's stock was on the rise in the past couple of weeks, and the Vikings had talked with him; so it was only a mild surprise that the Vikings chose Williamson over Williams.
