Stanley B. Herman

Stanley B. Herman grew up like many other little kids in New York. He was just a "Brooklyn kid running in the streets." Stanley was a good kid, a bit mischievous and adventurous, but extremely bright and outgoing. He had wonderful parents and was the oldest out of his sisters and brothers. As the years flew by, a vast
array of Stanley's talents would be revealed, although many of them would unfortunately postpone the pursuit of his true passion. His first such talents that came to light were art and performing gymnastics and
Thomas Jefferson High School at Ebbets Field, home of the Brooklyn Dodgers, Stanley was so impressed that he dreamt of being a football player for Tilden High School, having never played the game before. He envisioned himself as a Tilden halfback scoring touchdowns that helped him to win the game. It was just

Argus Leader Online Forums Sports NFL View Full Version : 2005 Vikes Off-season Moves I thought rather than continuing to type this kind of stuff under the "Moss trade" threads we just as well put that behind us and have a thread addressing all the other coming happenings.
It sounds like Burris is a possibility now, I am not sure what I think of that. I used to live in Pittsburgh and have lots of Steeler fan friends, and they are pissed off at him, so I hope we arent getting rid of one cancer (in Moss) for another lesser talented cancer.
Also have you read Red's latest comments. Its like who is running the ship there? We have to be the most dysfunctional family in the NFL. We cant just keep our dirty laundry in house, we gotta broadcast it everywhere.
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (March 3) - Minnesota Vikings owner Red McCombs said he nearly fired coach Mike Tice last season in an effort to get more out of star receiver Randy Moss.
He also acknowledged that he knows the Vikings didn't get enough in return when they traded Moss to Oakland.
McCombs made his first public comments Thursday since the team traded Moss to the Raiders. The deal was made last week and officially completed on Wednesday.

Notetaker: Justin Beasley - to whom many thanks JM thanks everyone for their support throughout the ITV Digital debacle and the promotion season. AP thanks "fantastic support" during the run in - all those draws were very nervy, and the support "helped see us home." Also thanks for the £10k of donations to the Academy. "You should have a party in there!" What game are you most looking forward to in the new season?
AP - Crystal Palace, because of old ties, but really just getting started at Derby - it seems like an eternity since the last competitive game. Anywhere in the first division is better than going to Blackpool anyway.
KD - Portsmouth.
JM - The game when we get promoted to the Premiership! Alex Smith - how does he need to improve to get his Reading career back on track?
AP - He was brought in to play left midfield, but thought his best position would be full back. He takes a few too many risks there, but he is a fantastic talent and will get a chance this season.

Essex Blades vs UEA Pirates: PEA (Pride of East Anglia) Bowl I Essex Blades 12
UEA Pirates 27 Scoring Final Essex UEA In this annual University Derby day fixture the Blades put up a spirited performance against their arch rivals, but it wasn’t quite enough. The Blades offence started well, with Quarter Back David Lopez again taking the helm, and now starting to show some real promise, but as with the rest of the season the Blades found their drives petering out as they approached the red zone. In the end the Blades had to settle for a 7-0 half time deficit. In the 2 nd half, there followed a mini collapse, as the defence gave up two quick scores to the Pirates offence, again though the Blades showed that they do not die too easily. The Blades set about amassing a huge drive (including a great sixty yard run from Lopez) and after stalling at the UEA three yard line, a well timed blitz saw UEA QB Lucien Giordano throw a pass over Ado Cooper. Cooper made a leaping interception and then returned the ball for a score.

15 Vikes Become Free Agents
Viking Update Staff - Scout.com

Vikings fans are all but assured that they've seen the last of Chris Hovan. But what about the rest of the potential free-agent class? VU takes a quick first look.
The Vikings begin the process of the 2005 offseason following the end of their playoff run, and one of the first steps will be addressing their own free-agent needs. Here is a quick look at what they'll be facing:
UNRESTRICTED FREE AGENTS
Morten Andersen Became a field goal liability, he won't be back.
Chris Claiborne Wants to come back, but as a middle linebacker, which likely won't happen. But, the Vikings liked his run in the playoffs and will try to re-sign.
Billy Conaty Teams loves him, but with Matt Birk and Cory Withrow signed, his spot is taken.

This is the third and final Newsletter of the 1998-1999 School year and the Parents Activities Committee would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank all the parents who have helped in whatever way during the year -
library duty, yard duty, faith friends, school tour assistants, games helpers, fund raisers, contributors and all other activities which go to make St. Cronan's the progressive school it is.
We wish the 6th Class boys (and their parents) all the very best of luck in the post-primary education and hope that they will always have fond memories of their time in St. Cronan's.
Come on you Reds! (?)
All hail the conquering heroes. St Cronan's gaelic football team have won the 1999 North-East Wicklow Primary Schools Division 1 Championship.
Under the keen tutelage of Mr. Barry the team have gone from strength to strength and now keenly await their opponents in the semi-final of the Coughlan Cup . All this comes after the great performance earlier this year when they were narrowly beaten in the final of the INTO 7-a-side competition by Rathnew. Mr. Barry takes great credit for the work he has done with the boys and he would be the first to acknowledge the excellent foundation work that has been done by Gordon Loughnane and Helen Flanagan in the school over the past couple of years. It is great to see the boys getting an opportunity to compete against the rest of the county and the winning of trophies is an added bonus.
