Way back then, I learned how to use a Mac computer and immediately started to make animations in Director, and to scan or photograph objects which I could use as `actors` for these movies. My interest in these objects soon went beyond mere source material, and I started to create what you could call toy tableau. Those images of little worlds, inspired really by the huge amount of experimental source material I was now accumulating, went through various degrees of manipulation in Photoshop to become my first serious photographic objet d`art - so to speak. Shortly after Director I got into Flash, which is a software much more relevant to drawing than jpeg photographs. And while I had been drawing in little notebooks pretty much all my life, the reciprocal relation between drawing in Flash and drawing in my books has concentrated my curiousity on the latter- on certain linear situations, spatial and otherwise. But for me, intellectually and emotionally, the two go together and I have been deep into both now for about five years non stop. Here is a brief summary on the categories: they are all related one to the other. And here is the consequence of such detailed exploration: new names for old things.

As well as being serialised in PVs it will be published as a booklet sometime towards the beginning of next year. We need as many contributions as possible.
