Extractions: In I Think I Do , his warmly received feature debut, Sloan pries apart the triangle and broadens his experiment in human behavior by involving seven tight knit George Washington University chums and spying on them first at school and then, later, at the wedding of the only two who've realized they belong together all along. The others aren't sure if they really love the person they seem to see as more than just a buddy...but they think they do. The central but by no means only pair of romantic misfits is Bob (Alexis Arquette) and Brendan (Christian Maelen). Bob is a slightly nerdy gay everyman and Brendan is an impossibly gorgeous, presumably hetero hottie who also happens to be Bob's bestest friend and roommate. They are as inseparable as playful puppies and just as oh-so-cute together. Except they aren't together. At least, they think they aren't.
Tuc Watkins Bio :: David And Dorian ~ Soulmates tuc watkins originated the role of One Life to Live s charming conman David tuc in Gray Suit Mr. watkins, born Charles Curtis watkins III in Kansas City http://www.daviddorian.name/tuc/
Extractions: Tuc Watkins originated the role of One Life to Live's charming conman David Vickers in 1994. After a seven year absence, Mr. Watkins made a welcomed return on August 19, 2003. Mr. Watkins, born Charles Curtis Watkins III in Kansas City, Kansas, made his acting debut on stage as Rip Van Winkle in the fifth grade ("No one else wanted to memorize the lines," he says) and in high school divided his time between sports and theatre. At Indiana University, he majored in communications with a triple minor in theatre, psychology and French. During his college years, he performed in regional theatre and decided to pursue acting as his career. Following graduation, he returned to Kansas City to appear in the Missouri Repertory Theatre's production of Heaven's Hard. In 1989, he moved to Los Angeles and quickly became a member of SAG when he booked his first commercial. Before landing the role of David Vickers on OLTL, Mr. Watkins appeared on such television shows as Growing Pains, Get a Life, Baywatch, Sibs, Laurie Hill, The Edge, Santa Barbara, Sisters, Melrose Place and the feature film Little Sister. He co-founded the All-U-Can-Eat Players, a Los Angeles theatre company that performs European political satire. Among his theatrical credits, he received the 1992 Dramalogue Award for his role as Tom in the Los Angeles premiere production of Boys' Play and made his off-Broadway debut to critical acclaim in Fortune's Fools. After his original two-year stint on OLTL, Mr. Watkins returned to Los Angeles where he played Dr. Pierce Dorman on General Hospital. His additional television credits include guest starring roles on Silk Stalkings, High Tide and a recurring role on C-16: FBI. In 1997, he appeared in the independent film I Think I Do, and went on to film Can't Stop Dancing, The Thin Pink Line, and the feature film The Mummy in which he played Mr. Burns.

Extractions: I take literacy and my freedom to read whatever strikes my fancy so much for granted that I tend to forget about the groups that want to censor my reading, and ban some of the best books ever written. Ulysses by James Joyce was barred from the United States as obscene for 15 years and all of Jack London's works were banned in Italy and Yugoslavia as being too radical. In the U. S. "Little Red Riding Hood," "Little Black Sambo," and even the Harry Potter Series have been banned in some places. It is generally conceded that some versions of "Little Black Sambo" were banned because of the illustrations rather than the text. You can see the various illustrations here: The Story of Little Black Sambo . (Scroll down the page for the whole story.) I'm not sure I would have grown with the same sense of compassion, if I had not been allowed to read the frequently banned "Huckleberry Finn." It was one of the books that started my lifelong love of reading. I still remember laughing until my sides hurt over the passage where Huck's Pa kicked the washtub. Oh, yes, I'll grant you, there was some racism and child abuse in the story, but to prevent generations of children from reading it is shameful. Many of the books that contain a great deal of racism show children why it is bad.
GHR: Now And Then With the news that tuc watkins is returning to One Life to Live as the unscrupulous David I d like to end by pointing you to tuc watkins s fan website, http://www.ghreview.com/four/one/nowthen.html
Extractions: by Matthew Weaver With the news that Tuc Watkins is returning to One Life to Live as the unscrupulous David Vickers (for only five days, some magazines say; other Internet rumors indicate he may have changed his mind about the whole thing), it is a good time to reflect on Watkins's other daytime drama role, that of General Hospital 's nefarious Dr. Pierce Dorman. Ah, Dormanarguably GH 's last great villain. How can I make such a claim, you may ask? What about those baddies who have come after "our Pierce," as Monica so sarcastically called him when she had him trussed up and nearly under the knife in that seedy hotel room? What about Helena? Sorel? The oh-too-brief return of Cesar Faison? Stavros? We'll get to them in a second, but first we should provide a little of Dorman's background. Dr. Dorman debuted in 1995, played by the bearded Bradley White, as a bigoted GH doctor who refused to treat Stone Cates for HIV. Not much to write home about, just a creep in the middle of one of the biggest (and most depressing) storylines in the show's history. Dorman also lent Damian Smith his winter cabin, which Damian used to frame Katherine Bell for his murder and skip town. Early 1996, Rob Youngblood took over the role, and Pierce was placed in Alan and Monica's circle as Alan's doctor, to repair Alan's hand so that the male Dr. Quartermaine could return to life as a surgeon. (This would set up Alan's drug addiction to the pain medication hydrocodone.) He also began to flirt with Monica, still depressed after her battle with breast cancer, and was revealed to be her secret admirer. Dorman's attentions succeeded where Alan's did not, and Pierce and Monica entered into an affair. It was also hinted, but never really followed up on, that Pierce was in cahoots with Stefan Cassadine to close General Hospital. Dorman bailed out on GH to work at rival Mercy Hospital, and then returned after Stefan "saved" the day.
