The purpose of the workshop is to discuss how such proofs can be found in the future experiments (Borexino, LENS, Kamland) or data (GNO, SNO, SuperKamiokande). Are neutrino oscillations the only explanation of the solar neutrino and atmospheric neutrino data? What is the status of the exotic solutions? What is the status of sterile neutrino, and why do we need it in the light of the recent SuperKamiokande data? Is the astrophysical solution still alive?
