The INSIDER: Hollywood Network TVSpy Message Board (So Annoying!) Ananda Lewis and victoria recano are hotties, and make it worth starin uh,watching. But Ananda s looks of amazement and shock in the Yes or No segment http://www.vault.com/messages/Hollywood_Network/Hollywood_Network1236465.html
Extractions: Topic Name: The INSIDER Message Name: So annoying! Date Posted: In Reply To: CHEESY!!!! I happened to try to watch this show a couple of nights this week (on at 1:30am where I live) and it makes "Entertainment Tonight" looks like respectable journalism. Ananda Lewis and Victoria Recano are hotties, and make it worth starin uh, watching. But Ananda's looks of amazement and shock in the "Yes or No" segment wouldn't even get her a gig on "Passions." Message: Yes, I can't stand those Yes or No segments! Really bad acting on Ananda's part. I don't like Pat, Ananda, Victoria, or the one who just had a baby. That's why I don't watch the show after trying it out for a couple of weeks. Too annoying.

Jazy's Adventures In Blacksburg: L'existentialisme There s a TechTV News commercial on this tape, and it has victoria recano on it . victoria was a great lady. TechTV jerked her around too much. http://www.jazybones.com/archives/000408.php
Extractions: Main No, I'm not going off on an existential journey to "find myself," I thought it sounded like a good title for lack of a better one. To quote the Goddess of Screen and Audio Captures , "I was strangely productive today." Really. It all started with me waking up around 12:30 then listening to Leo filling in for the normal host on KSFO.com . Actually, he was filling in for the host that took over for him when he left to do his current gig over at TechTV . anyways, his guest for 3 hours was Kevin Mitnick, a very very fascinating man. Leo kept calling it "the hacker and the geek." :-) [ok here's where productivity comes in] During the radio show, I picked up my room. It wasn't so much hard as it was long and arduous. I put all my clothes away and washed the dirty ones. I threw away one of those big heavy duty black bags full of trash, and I vacuumed the floor, cleaned the air filters, the upstairs landing, and the spare room. Se, I told you I was strangely productive. Then my Dad, brother and I went to see MIB2. It was a

Extractions: Last night I was watching ITV News (from Britain). Their lead story was how some Britons were being released from Guantanamo Bay, after being held for a few years. Guantanamo Bay really makes me sick to my stomach, just as the internment camps in the southwest do. The idea that our country, a supposed bastion of freedom in the world, holds people against their will, without trial, access to due process, or protection from abuse really makes me mad. This isn't Nazi Germany, Bush, this is America. You know, land of the free , home of the brave, etc, etc. All this bullshit about the United States needing to protect its people...holding innocent people in a concentration camp within a communist nation isn't going to do it. In fact, that's more likely to contribute more to the insecurity of the United States than anything. What gives this country the right to go into other soverign nations, capture "terrorists," and hold them as "enemy combatants" until they become too much of a diplomatic nightmare to detain? Some days, I really feel like the America I thought I knew is gone.

Extractions: Main ...as I don't watch a lot of television, especially television that can't be captured by a set of rabbit-ears. Anyway, my uncle and I caught some late-night television via TV Land on Saturday evening. We thought maybe we'd catch H.R. Pufnstuf for a stroll down memory lane. We missed H.R., and instead caught Sigmund and the Sea Monsters More surprising, though, was the crappy show that followed, Electra Woman and Dyna Girl , featuring none other than Days of Our Lives' very own Deidre Hall . How funny that she kept acting for a target audience with the IQ of six-year-olds for all these years! I remembered Electra Woman and Dyna Girl quite well, especially Dyna Girl. This is one of the television shows that I remember actively watching because of a good-looking actress despite the fact that I thought the show sucked. Oh Dyna Girl! Especially after what almost happened to George Eads and Jorja Fox over at CSI !) Extractions: Unanchored, Diana shines DNC suits Ch. 7's Williams Williams covers the Democratic convention. Diana Williams needs to get out of the studio more. When she's at the anchor desk on WABC/Ch. 7's 5 p.m. newscasts, Williams is steady and reliable, if occasionally drab. But this week, anchoring Ch. 7's coverage of the Democratic National Convention from Boston, Williams has been terrific. Not that she's bad in the studio; it's that being on location has - from this side of the screen - been refreshing for Williams. She's smiling a lot more. She appears to be having fun with her work, and she's good at it. She may not notice it, but her delivery and performance from Boston are different from - more lively than - when she's stuck behind the anchor desk in New York. In Boston, Williams is clearly in charge, throwing with ease to Ch. 7's team of correspondents around Boston's Fleet Center, while also doing an excellent job setting the scene for viewers back home. She's been unflappable, such as earlier this week, when viewers could hear an anchor from another station screaming in the background. Whether she's caught up in the hoopla of the event or simply having a good time doesn't matter. She's been the best of the New York anchors in Boston this week - and this from a convention that has produced little real news.
