Extractions: By Jen Three days before my departure from New York City, I received a sign from the heavens that my move to Los Angeles was the right thing to do. The sign wasn't a traditional one. It didn't come in the form of a blinding light or a loud thunderclap, but instead in the form of a former child television star. Pretty much everyone I know is familiar with the odd and ever-continuing connection that I have to one Mr. Danny Pintauro , former star of one of the finest television programs ever to grace the small screen... Who's the Boss ? Well folks, you'll all be happy to know that this connection is ever present, as was witnessed in an absolutely extraordinary event that occurred on Nov 21, 2002. Gina and I had attended a karaoke birthday party for a mutual friend of ours that evening. After a night of singing and drinking (more drinking than singing), we stumbled out into the wee hours of the morn on the streets of the Lower East Side. We needed food, badly, and Gina happened to remember that there was a late night pizza place right down the block. We headed out with the hopes that it was still open, and were both thrilled to see the neon lights still flashing. As we walked into the pizza parlor, I found myself being pushed out by Gina, who was so excited about something she could barely speak.

Cujo Cast Dee Wallace, danny pintauro, Daniel Hugh Kelly, Christopher Stone, Ed Lauter, Lee Kaiulani, Billy Jayne Directed by Lewis Teague http://www.ajhakari.com/c/cujo.html
Extractions: Cujo by Adam J. Hakari Three cheers for Stephen King, who introduced humanity to horror and brought us such classics as Carrie and Misery , both of which served as the basis for powerful motion pictures. Lest we not forget his non-horror works, his various short story collections that have given us unforgettable dramas like The Green Mile and Stand by Me . But hold on a second. King is also the same man who adapted some of his own stuff for the big screen ( Silver Bullet Pet Sematary ) with pathetic results, and, in addition, wrote a number of original screenplays that met with no avail ( Sleepwalkers and the mini-series Storm of the Century come to mind...). You know what, screw Stephen King now! I want my money back for all his book-to-movie adaptations that stunk, and save for a few memorable efforts, about 70% have been incomplete in the translation from paper to celluloid. And yet King's popularity exceeds his mediocrity, climbing at a slow but steady pace, constantly catapulting him back to the top of his game whenever his position appears threatened by some bright little upstart. The trouble is that many of these films which have so continued to disappoint more and more viewers have had a lot of potential they could have reached. Cujo in particular sounded like it could have been made into a marvelous suspense feature. Just think of the story: a rabid dog traps a woman and her sun in a broken-down car. While the world is gripped with "Survivor" fever, they could have been watching a scary tale of true survival. But instead

Haiko´s Filmlexikon - Cujo Translate this page Darsteller Dee Wallace, danny pintauro, Daniel Hugh-Kelly, Ed Lauter, Christopher Stone. Musik Charles Bernstein. USA 1983. (Haiko Herden) http://www.haikosfilmlexikon.de/horror/cd/cujo.htm
