"I'm sorry to keep bitching about the weather, but it has just been so cold, and I'm sick of it. Sour Pie combined with McNarland's magnifying, and nearly indescribable, live presence cemented a record deal and thus her first major label, full length album, Stuff. To say that Stuff is an interesting mix of acoustic guitar and rock music is a bare, inadequate description. The true power of McNarland's music is in the expressiveness of her lyrics. While they might seem oblique on first listen, upon closer examination, the music and lyrics gel together to form a cohesive, passionate moment. McNarland finds it difficult to describe her lyrics.
