There, she received her education till the age of 18 before heading back to Taiwan. Often going back to Taiwan for holidays, one day whilst buying fried chicken at a fast food store during her stay, Sally was approached by a movie agent with an offer to play a role in a movie. With an ambition to become a singer since young, the offer seems to be a good starting point for entering into the entertainment industry. Little does she know that she'll become the Queen of Pop in ASIA one day, reigning the title through the late 1980s into the mid 1990s. In the movie scene, Sally mainly acted in comedy/action/romance roles. Her movie credits include "Shanghai Blues", "Peking Opera Blues", "I Love Maria", "The Killer", "Cupid One" and many others. Her role in "Peking Opera Blues" had earned her a nomination for Best Actress in 1986 where else "The Killer" has attained international recognition for its directorship by John Woo. All these achievements did not come without a price. Sally had to go through weeks of tough wu-shu training to cope with the fighting scene demands in "Peking Opera Blues" while suffering from back injuries with all those bashing and thrashing around in "I Love Maria". After days of speculation, Aaron Kwok Fu-Sing finally had his much talked about meeting with his CHINA STRIKE FORCE co-star Norika Fujiwara. On Fujiwara's last full day in Hong Kong, Kwok picked her up at her hotel in his Lamborghini and drove her to his Causeway Bay district restaurant (left). There, Kwok reportedly threw a belated 30th birthday party for his rumoured girlfriend complete with cake and birthday present. Asked afterwards what he bought Fujiwara for her birthday, Kwok answered: "Secret." The evening ended with Kwok driving Fujiwara back to her hotel. There were reports that Kwok drove back to the hotel for a visit shortly after. In any event, the next day, Fujiwara left Hong Kong to return home to Japan (right). It is widely believed that Fujiwara was in Hong Kong to shoot an ad with Kwok for Fuji film products. However, no official announcement was made.
